With Hendrick drivers dominating every single COT race this year, should Nascar step in and make sure they aren't doing anything they are not supposed to be doing? For one team to run so well in the "new" car, something has to be going on. Granted, Johnson and Gordon are both former champs, but come on...4 out of 4?? And for Kyle Busch to be running up front every race, they have to be....I don't want to say cheating...but bending the rules some how or another. Or is Nascar loving it, and getting exactly what they hoped for?

LOOK, every car goes through the inspection process before and after the race. Face the facts, Hendrick has the cream of the crop drivers and crews. I beleive it's getting old hat that when a Hendrick car wins, it's because of cheating. You can bet your last buck that NASCAR has indeed, checked these boys out with a fine tooth comb. Did you even notice that Little E, the no. 11 car and other top drivers ran up front all day??? No you didn;t because you only wanted someone other than a Hendrick car to win. I hope all of the races left are won by a Hendrick car and then every sore loser can say, as they always do, those guys just had to be cheating. Oh, hows about tying a 500 lb block on thier bumper. Would that be ok???

I don't think NASCAR likes this because some fans of other teams get very discouraged and could tune the sport out because the conclusion is known before the green flag waves. The cars I am for could not run with these guys. Dodge and Ford are behind the Chevrolets anyway and HMS is FAR better than any team of any make with this COT. I get discouraged and am losing interest in the sport because of it. In the 1980's Bill Elliott was running away with races. He made up 2 laps at Talledega (> 5 miles) under green. NASCAR put restrictor plates in the cars primarily to slow Elliott down. They need to find out what they have that the others don't and let everyone in on it. Johnson and Gordon are great drivers but those cars are just better. Excellent winning drivers like Stewart, Kenseth, Junior, Kurt Busch, and Biffle can't keep up with these cars after a few laps.

I believe they have impounded the winning car and one from each of the other manufacturers after each COT race so far this year. That means Hendrick cars from the 3 winning teams (Busch, Johnson and Gordon) HAVE been "investigated", tested and analyzed. I'd bet they are making sure that they aren't going outside the box NASCAR has put all the COTs in and they are also trying to get more data on how they are affected by raCE CONDITIONS.

I'm not a Hendrick fan but with as much inspection as there has been on these COT's I doubt there is anything fishy going on. Let's face it, right now Hendrick's in the winning groove. But the older I get, the more I understand the term "What goes around, comes around". The day will come when Hendrick won't be able to find a win. Probably not going to be this year and maybe not next year, but there's always a new kid on the block and you can't live on top of the heap forever. Let's give them their due and let them have their day. Perhaps "our" guys will have their day and we will not want everyone crying foul or cheat at them. It's only a matter of time. How much, no one knows.

Sure, let NASCAR investigate all they want. And when they don't find anything what excuse will the Hendricks haters use then ? Or will the Hendricks haters just finally accept the fact that their driver doesn't measure up.

I believe the HMS domination comes down to two things.

1) Hendricks did their homework and spent a lot of time and money on research and development for the COTs

2) So far the COTs have run at tracks 1 mile of less, in which Gordon, Johnson and Busch have been successful at in the past. Sure they're are 4 of 4 in COT races, but Hendrick has also won 3 non- COT races this year also.

No way. The ONLY people that talk about or think this are fans of someone other than Hendrick Motorsports. If HMS was doing something illegal and winning unfairly, all the other crew chiefs, drivers, owners, media, etc. etc. would be all over it and complaining until it was resolved. But you know what? None of those folks are saying anything close to it. They understand that they are simply being beat by the best right now. No different than when Roush dominated 2 years ago. Like I said, it is only jealous fans who are tired of their driver being beat by a Hendrick driver.

Every car is inspected before and after the race, if they were doing something out of the rules NASCAR would catch it. The fact is they have the resources and were able to put a full time team working on the COT as soon as it was announced that NASCAR was going to start fazing it into competition. Everyone else will catch up but right now they have the jump on everyone .

No everyone of the teams said when they started running this car that if one team hit the set up that they would run away from everyone else until the other teams find it too. some teams may not find it this season or never at all. These cars drive a bit tighter than the old cars and guys like Jeff like a tighter race car. I also heard someone on a Nascar show say these cars were going to drive like some of the older ones. Maybe guys like Jeff who were so dominate then will be again.

So Maybe Hendrick just has better people working on their cars. Maybe, Just maybe they are focused on winning and building a good car. And maybe they just have the ability and know how to do it. Soon the other teams will catch up and make their cars great.

Denny Hamlin has been running up front- maybe we should investigate him and Jamie McMurray who started second, if he had not had the car issues- he probably would have run in the top 10 like he has the last several races.

Maybe NASCAR should investigate why all the Toyota teams suck so bad, or why Kasey Kahne has had such a crappy year.

Just because your driver did not win, does not mean that there is a big NASCAR conspiracy.

So stop whining like Tony Stewart and get on with life.

I don't think NASCAR should investigate HMS not because I am a HMS fan , but rather it is openly known that HMS has put a "butt-load" of money into the R&D of the C.O.T. Not unlike the DEI dominance of the "plate" tracks a few years ago. HMS stepped up their plate programs and now have dominated the plate tracks as well. Investigating HMS would be an expensive and drawn out process, and when nothing is found (except a lot of wind tunnel time). As much as this pains me to say it's not the cars it's the drivers. Casey Mears wasn't in the top 5 or top 10 and he is a HMS car, Gordon, Johnson, and Bush, Like 'em or Hate 'em they seem to have "mastered" the C.O.T not because of cheating but rather because of a very large open wallet.
