If there is a bit of water with the corn, I prefer the fork so I get only the corn and the water drains. If there's no water, I prefer a spoon, it's so much easier.

No spoon, no fork, no cutlery necessary, just use the tools you were born with, pick up that corn with hands and eat and do remember suck all the juices off that cob

It's proper to use a fork to scoop up the corn (not spear it), but by all means it easier to use a spoon, my advice if you out to dinner just follow suit of what your fellow diners are using, this is always a no fail method. If your at home use whichever you prefer, of course you could always use a spork, then you have both options in one convienent utensil.

i always begin with a fork, but than i realize its stupid and change to spoon. :)

Personally I prefer to eat with my mouth, but a fork or spoon will be adequate to stuff it in there.

For some reason I only like corn on the cob. If it's off the cob I can't eat it.
So, I use neither.
