Well, you really need to have more tests done to make sure your not suffering from some other sort of ailment like tendonitus, or a pulled muscle. If however you have high uric acid levels, you may be experiencing a Gout attack. High uric acid levels in the blood means your blood is full of microscopic crystals that represent the acid. These will congregate in your joints, particularly the feet, ankles and knees. You may also suffer from frequent kidney stones and those are what pain is all about. You must seek medical attention with a Urologist to get the issue resolved. There are several medications out on the market that can be prescribed. One is Urocit-K and the other is Allipurinol. Both will take care of high uric acid levels if prescribed by your Urologist. I will tell you though, once this acid level is taken care of, then the body will naturally dispose of the crystaline substances in your joints. This will cause you arthritic pain especially if you've had high uric acid levels for a long time and the crystaline substances have had time to eat away at your joints. You can take an over the counter medication like Aleve, or ask your regular physician for an anti-inflamatory/arthritus drug. Many of those like Vaioxx, were withdrawn from the market because they were thought to have contributed to heart issues because they elevate the blood pressure. So one cure leads to other issues and its an endless circle. One medication you may ask your doctor about is Meloxicam, its a newer anti-inflamatory that may work to help you.

Accept that truth and transfer on

I strongly suggest you to go to a good doc and get an x-ray of the behind of the neck , shoulder, and the back bone,,, based on the results you may go ahead with the exercises needed or may be to go ahead with other check ups,, before it gets to late,, for you,,, Good Luck!
