You know I have asked that VERY thing to many people and they all give the same answers that are here. Isn't the no eyed fish etc. considered adaptation and not REAL evolution. I'm not a creationist BUT I have put that question out there more than once and have never had a satisfactory answer so I guess i can't give you one either. Where are the creatures that are evolving from the amoeba

human beings at the instant are not the only "issues" to have developed. canines, cats, bears, lions, birds, elephants have all developed from earlier species. And there are a number of extra species too. purely simply by fact some seem to stay an identical does not advise that evolution does not exist. the reason that some species did not replace is by the fact they have been very adaptive to any climate, circumstances, and so on. so there became no reason to alter - the place different species had to evolve with a view to evolve to the diversities in ecosystem, nutrition components, predation, and different circumstances.

Most everything you see as perfect is that way because they have adapted to match their environment for a "prefect fit."

Evolution doesn't stop, but it happens so slowly that it's hard to observe. Most of the mutations that we have observed since the evolutionary theory, have been minor, like pesticide resistant bugs.

Check this Wikipedia article about the peppered moth and how it evolved due to pollution from the industrial revolution.

Since you placed this under the "religion & Spirituality" area, I assume you are trying to show that evolution doesn't happen because god created it to be "perfect." Don't let your religious convictions blind you from learning about the world we live in. If you truely believe in God, then science only proves through the complexity of our earth, his greatness. (That's what they call "Intelligent Design")

Look at the many kinds of dogs, when once their were only a single species of wolves. . . Yes there documented transitional forms. The horse was once the size of a dog and yes there are transitional fossils. Fruit Flies kept in total darkness eventually lose all pigmentation, their eyes disappear, and the hairs of the proboscis become longer and more sensitive as does their sense of smell. . . . this is also true of insects, fish, and fauna in deep caves, but you would probably say they were created that way rather than evolving.

Remember, under no circumstances, should you get a bird flu shot in the case of a pandemic. It will be a hoax, because evolution doesn't happen. Also,do not take the newer antibiotics, stick to penicillin, the other medicines are for those strains of disease that have evolved to have resistance to drugs. Show your faith!Reject modern medicine!!!!
What in the heck is a half and half animal anyway?I never ran across that term in my studying of TOE

Look at the wild mustangs out west. Compare them to the race horses at the Kentucky Derby. They have the same bloodlines. Yet they have evolved in to totally separate animals.

Look at how much smarter first graders are now than twenty years ago. Maybe they are smarter because today's parents have evolved into better, more sensitive parents.

Look at a group picture from the 1800's. We are taller and fatter than our ancestors. We are evolving for better or worse, we are evolving.

You should study evolution with an open mind, rather than trying to reject it before you comprehend it. Peerfection is a matter of opinion. I see many flaws in the world. Evolution proceeds slowly. You might see more if you would open your eyes and really look, rather than trying to make the world fit your premature beliefs. That is a creationist habit.

Drink up!
-----------------------
To answer your question, whoever led you to think that talking about "half and half animals" makes a point against evolution is either simply lying to you or so stone-cold stupid he can barely feed himself.

The "everything around us is so perfect" line is astonishingly ignorant as well.

You really need to get away from the influence of the morons who fed you this idiocy.

nothing around us is perfect...we are never THAT optimally adapted to our environment because the environment is continually changing, hence why some species are more prone to extinction than others are...what does that say about perfection?

Species evolve in response to changes in their physical environment AND in their interaction with other species, species become extinct and new ones emerge....I suggest some bio reading on speciation for you to fully understand the whole process :)

Go visit a cave and look at the fish with no eyes and then go to a stream outside of the cave and look at identical fish with eyes.
