It would probably be very innapropriate for me to make a joke about God's "supper power"

I have lost both my father and grandfather in the past few years. My grandfather and I were very close because he was the only father role I had in my life. My family strengthened their faith in God in the years he was sick and even after his death. My grandfather may have been old, but he literally went from being healthy to very sick within a few weeks, and was sick and disabled for 3 years. He didn't deserve any of that, but with my faith in God I have learned to understand why it happened. God helped me so much through that time in my life, and He is still helping me today.
I believe that when a parent loses their child, God is not punishing the child. He is trying to teach/tell the parents and family something. Your son is smiling down on you and he is in a place where he is happy and safe. I am sorry for your loss, may you find the strength to face each day with a smile.

I enjoy some Bollywood films and do feel that they express some truth. My favorites are Baghban and Dhadkan.
I don't feel that your question really is about Bollywood though. You are expressing a lot of grief over the loss of your son. I'm very sorry to hear about that. I can't think of anything more painful than to lose a child, no matter how it happens.
Don't let your pain alienate you from God. As our heavenly Father, he has also lost children. He grieves constantly over the death and suffering of his children. God doesn't kill our children. God grieves with us when we lose our children.
God understands what you feel more than any other human being. You can turn to him in your grief and find comfort.
Genesis 37:34-35 expresses the grief of a father for a lost son. I often see this as the expression of God's own pain over the violence in our world.
Jacob tore his garments and put sackcloth on his loins and mourned for his son many days. All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted and said, “No, I shall go down to Sheol to my son, mourning.” Thus his father wept for him.

Dear Mother and Father,
I feel for you. I lost both my parents within one year and I cannot even imagine what it must be like to lose a child like that.
What I have heard is: people come to this life with a reason and not all of them plan to stay for 80 or 90 years. Very often those who die young are very special people (I know of at least 5 youngsters like that. They were perfect angels). They come, they light our lives and then, after accomplishing what they meant to do, they go back home. It may have been that person's final incarnation before attaining moksha. That's what I have heard.
I hope it will get easier for you soon and I am certain that some good will one day come out of this pain.
Until then, please don't lose hope. Blessed Be.

I am truly, deeply, sorry for your loss.
I consider it one of life's gravest injustices for a parent to have to bury their own child.
It is during times of loss that it's best to get closer to God, even if you don't understand why it happened.
Job lost ALL of his children, ALL of his wealth, and everything else that he had. Read the book of Job. All of it.
Post questions about it here, if you'd like.
I can't tell you I know WHY your son was taken away, but I do know that there was a reason. May God help you in your time of grief.
******
Fireball: What is wrong with you? This person is GRIEVING for a loss of a loved one. Why are you putting it back on them? Show some Christian compassion, please!

My dear Jaswinder... I feel deeply moved by your loss ... I too was shattered last year when i lost my 16 yr old niece.
I pray God to give you strength to overcome this grief...and I will pray for you and your son today
But I would like to remind you that It is not God who snatches lives.
The day we are born....our death date is fixed as per our past life's karmas... so this life's karma have really no effect on our longevity
God Does not interefere in the Law of Karma...as this law has been made by him
Krishna, the god himself could not stop killing of his 7 siblings
Guru Gobind Singh...who was a great Gyani, Bhakta and warrior...could not save his 4 sons to killed by tyrants
Jesus god incarnated... did not save himself from crucification...even though he could do it..
Vivekananda who did not smoke, drink or marry..and only used his life spreading message of God..died at young age of 31
Do you think we are greater than Krishna or Guru Gobindsinghji or Jesus Christ???
So instead of cursing God... you should pray for your son's soul to rest in peace
Donating to orphan children will dilute your grief..and will give peace to your son

in my town of Erie there is a man that is working on a machine that will KILL CANCER with out hurting other parts of the body. this man has CANCER HIMSELF, but he is working tirelessly to cure cancer in others .
it is we, that may have to ,cure ourselves. goddess gave us a brain and the desire to save others.

if you do not believe in GOD then why complain. There must be a reason for his death and try to figure that out.
