How much percent of a cooked normal beef sausage, just from a supermarket, would you estimate to be fat? I have the actual percent, I just need some peoples opinions

Beef Sausage... the only beef sausage I can think of is Keilbasa. I think that's around 40% fat.

I'm not too familiar with beef sausage, but pork sausage usually has about 20-30% fat contained inside.

Are you asking how much fat is retained after cooking? That's about 10%.

Content of Fresh Sausages

Fresh Pork Sausages - May not contain pork byproducts and no more than 50% fat by weight.
Fresh Beef Sausages - May not include beef byproducts and no more than 30% fat by weight.
Breakfast Sausages - May contain meat and meat byproducts and no more than 50% fat by weight.
Whole Hog Sausage - Meat from swine in such proportions as are normal to a single animal and no more than 50% fat by weight.

Beef sausage? Who eats beef sausage??? Well the cheapest (fattiest) ground beef is about 25% fat so I'd say 25%. But again, who eats beef sausage????? Isn't sausage by definition at least partly pork?

maybe 30% as sausages are usu made of inferior cuts with lots of fat
