if it goes off, they won't take you away, they will just scan u with a little hand held scanner. Just remove any peices of metal on u, belts, (shoes if ur in the u.s) , watches, rings, change in pockets, keys, anything that is metal pretty much, except for earings.

I fly a lot wearing jeans (I fly a couple times a week) and it never sets off the metal detector. You can bring your razor through, I do it all the time. And you can actually have up to 3-ounce bottles (actually it's 100 milliliters, which is a little over 3 ounces), and you can have as many as will fit in a one-quart Ziploc bag. SO I would imagine that 6 of them will fit in one of those.

Take off shoes, belt, anything in your pockets before going through the detector. You can carry your ticket and ID in your hand.

Doing that I've never had the alarm go off.

AND, you can get randomly searched at ANY time, even if you didn't set off the alarm.

Different Airports use machines that are (set) more sensitive then others. I've heard international gateways are usually set more sensitive then others.

I actually had the clip on my eye glass case set it off once and I didn't even know there was metal under the leather.

my cell phone, and my boy friend had on a HUGE belt buckle and it didn't go off. So just put your cell phone. keys, chains (I'm not sure if they allow those anymore) necklaces, rings off and you will befine.

hmmmm. my guess is anything metal would set it off. so jus check to make sure u don't have anything metal on you. oh and if you set the alarm off they WILL arrest you on the spot cuz of all the terrorist stuff going on, so be careful :)
