Whenever I eat healthy or unhealthy foods I have a tough time with breathing. Exercising seems to be my only relief. Hours after I've eaten I still feel full & my food isn't going down. What type of doctor should I go to about this? I know I'm at least 20lbs overweight. Should I see a nutritionist? Please advise.

You should probably see a gastro guy but am wondering if your problem is 1. eating too much
2. eating too fast
3. eating the wrong things

You might have an acid reflux problem, you might have Celiac's disease (allergic to gluten), you might need to eliminate dairy. A nutritionist is a good idea as well as he/she can guide you on a proper diet/portion control etc. However, try eliminating dairy first ....eating slower & smaller portions. If that doesn't help then go see someone....acid reflux can make you feel as you've described above but see what happens after you've eliminated dairy first.

It might not be what your eating, probably more how much, or how much at once. If you find three meals a day too hard to digest, try 5-6 smaller meals.Don't increase the amount you eat, just spread it out further.
Don't drink 1/2 hour before, or when eating, as this dilutes the digestive fluids and means things will sit longer in your stomach.
If this doesn't help it could be something else.
Do you get heartburn or reflux as well? There could be a problem with an ulcer, gall stones, or something else.
Talk to your Mum or Dad. Did you have reflux (a lot of vomiting) as a baby? You may have a weak muscle at the top of the stomach, which is why its uncomfortable when full.
Is it worse if you lie down? That could be a sign of a Hiatus Hernia, where the stomach pushes up through the diaphragm, putting pressure on the lungs. This is also worse when the stomach is full.
Really to rule out those things its not, ask your doctor for a referral to a Gastroenterologist, that's a specialist in this field.
Also getting on top of the weight problem is going to help.

I have the equal issues. I uncover the laying down on my left part for a whilst is helping with catching my breath. If you are sitting alot, check out sitting with a pillow at the back of your again so you are pressured to sit down in a extra upright function. As for being complete, I appear at it corresponding to consuming Chinese meals. LOL. You consume a little bit, get complete, then you are hungry once more a whilst later. The youngster is solely taking on extra space now, so your interior organs are becoming driven apart for him/her. When the youngster drops ( someday betweek weeks 32 and 38 ) you'll be able to have extra space and think larger. Congrats and well success!

You should start running, at least 10 minutes a day. This is a typical problem for overweights, thus some running (which will force your organism to breathe intensively) will improve your health.

Try eating a little bit less at a time? If it continues you should definitely get to a doctor.
