Technically you can not revert from JPEG format to BMP format because JPEG files do not contain information that is stored in BMP, and there is no way of putting that information back.

Consider this, you have a file of size 100k with a JPEG extension, the same file would be around a megabyte in BMP format, because BMP stores a lot more information about image then JPEG.

Its this elimination of information that makes JPEG so small. So simply put, you can NOT convert a JPEG in to BMP.

Though, if you just want to change the format of the file, then you can use PAINT to open the file and use SAVE AS... and select BMP format.

But be sure that the missing information will not be put in and the file will necessarily remain of the same quality as of JPEG.

G o to: Start > All Programs > Accessories and open Paint.

Open a JPG file and Click on the File Tab, then Save As...

Choose BMP as the file type (under the File Name box).

Repeat X 20.

well first of all you cant convert a jpeg to a bmp, becuase the quality in the jpeg will already have been lost,
although the file type can say bmp, the quality will still be equivalent to a jpeg.

and the program you can use is .....

paint!!!

file save as then choose what you want to save it as
