Tanya - because it's my sisters name. She was born in 1945, and the Russians had just been our allies in defeating the Nazis, so my parents wanted a Russian name. On her birth certificate it says "Tatyana" but nobody ever called her that.

I really cant decide, Лилия (Liliya) is really nice, and i like София (Sofia). Theres loads of really pretty names but I think these two are definately my fave.

Some more examples you might like are:
Алиса - Alisa
Ариша - Arisha
Галина - Galina
Катя - Katya
Лариса - Larisa
Лена - Lena
Роксана - Roksana
Сабина - Sabina
Селена - Selena
Вероника - Veronika
Владимира - Vladimira

(Notice how most girl's names end in "a"? Still there are some very beautiful names here)

Only because I love saying it in the Russian accent.

But Liliana is very pretty, and lana aswell

Natasha is my favorite Russian female name. I like it because of how royal and superior it sounds as it rolls through the mouth. By the way, it means "Christmas day", for those who are wondering.

There are no names like Ursula or Bruce in Russian.
It seems to me that traditionally and historically it should be

Maria (Masha in colloquial language)

My name is Irina and to me it's the most favorite ))))

And... babooshka is not a name - that means grandmother or old lady
