There are kickboxers that would knock him out. He ducks too much, its good for boxing, but if you duck in the UFC its time to eat a knee or foot. And a knee is way more brutal than any uppercut. Also Tyson would get taken down at will even my a small dude like Matt Hughes. Does any one believe Tyson could even beat 170 lb Matt Hughes?

They just wanna see Tyson step into the ring, any ring again, after all, he did bring new life into boxing during his reign as a legitimate crowd drawer. It's the same reason why you get questions like..'What if Bruce Lee squared off with Andre The Giant or If Ali fought Butterbean, who'd win?" posted here. Since Tyson's still alive and around and has such a hyped up reputation, they think it would be a good idea and would sell more tickets to the UFC, it's one of those "I'd love to see him chomp some Jiujitsu guy's ear off" kind of fantasy.

People just really want to see Mike "Chopper" Tyson fight again. Let's face it, the guy is an animal and people want to see him tearing it up again.

All you said about his style is true, but don't think for a second that he wouldn't train for the situation. A reduction of rules would be interesting to see him with. Second, he has a devastating right arm. A lot of the guys in K1 may be tough or strong, but don't deny for a second that pro boxers like Tyson or Foreman can't damn near kill with their punches, and K1 and UFC have much MUCH lighter gloves.

Lastly, there is a reason that boxers box and other fighters don't. Boxing has the BIG BUCKS. Usually the best follow the money and if the K1 and UFC guys were REALLY good, they would go after the millions and not thousands. Tyson was the best in a field that commands BIG bucks. You know when there are MILLIONS on the line, the tough guys come out to play.

Personally, I enjoy watching K1 and UFC over boxing but I can't deny it. I would love to see it too.

if countless ex-kickboxers can do quite well in mma not to mention just many people in general winning there fights with nothing but punches before it even goes to the ground,i promise great boxers like tyson could have done better than what you think.i see stand up fighters like lidel win all the time against good grapplers.with a tad bit of training, tyson or any good boxing champion could as well.

Hes washed up.
The first time he was beat killed his career. He never was able to make a comeback after that. Once it was proven he was just a man and could be beat-the scare factor he had over everyone was gone.
Back in his younger days he probably could have done great in UFC. But at this point in his life i just dont think so.
