Is you home wiring has already facilitated for adding inverter? if not done while construction, this will be more hectic to do than buying a inverter. There are lot available in the market.

Pl. enquire abt the inverter in ur area. It wl depend on which inverter is available. Also dont forget to c if they hv after sales service. Select the inverter which hs quick after sales as well as service center, in ur area.
Reg. the battery, EXIDE is the best. U can find exide dealer in ur place & ask them for 3 fans & 3 lights power. It wl cost u roughly abt Rs. 17000/- or more. This cost is for the inverter & battery. If u want a battery separtely, it wl cost u 8000 or 9000/-.

Arti, if you are in south India, go for Elco Or V-guard, boath are good. Well on Batterries you can go for SF(standard Furukava). For the size of load you want to connect it with you should buy a 500VA inverter and a 23 plate batterry.
Never go and ask a sales person wich product is good! or which to buy, he/she will misguide you.

hey arrit k if u want purchase a inverter i will recommend u to take APC this inverter has high output ratio & low input ratio.....
