What kind of cables do I need? Names please. I have downloaded divx movies to my computer but need to connect them to my plasma so I can watch them easily. Please tell me what I need to buy for the same.

yes.

one rca (component) cable usually comes in a bunble of three, red white and yellow. for stereo audio(2) and video(1). you only need one.

I bought 15 feet of all 3 for 8 bucks on ebay

one component connector on the tv for video in.

For older tv's with only coaxil input you'll need to buy an RF modulator at any common tv/eletronics department

I have a radeon ati 9200se video card. its not the best video card for games, but it allows me to pump movies to my tv.

it has "tv out" component style and it was cheep about 30 bucks on pricewatch.com

It works great. movies even look better on the tv

total cost about 40$

ok its not the best picture you can get, but it will work.

S video is probably a better way to go. Check elvenhood

Well the most easy thing is to use a S-Video cable , ur plasma usually has an s-video input option , and ur comp well if it haves a graphics card it will also have an option .

Buy s-video cable and hook it up contact me in chocorocky with yahoo messenger if u have firther queiries

it's some kind of adapter/converter... sorry I don't know the exact type, but I remember I wanted to do this a couple years back, and this cable was about 50 bucks at fry's so expect a price in that ballpark.

just buy a divx dvd player.....they are cheap as chips these days anyway...
