Do you have anybody to talk to? I found out that I started to crossdress in public because I was desperate to have my internal feelings recognized. I didn't have anybody to talk to or explore my feelings so I found myself acting out with crossdressing. What I realized is that the people that saw me didn't care about me anyway. Realizing that they weren't helping me anyway helped me stop. What you don't do is throw out your girl things. You put them in plastic bags and put them away under your bed or in a closet. Just having them there is a mental help. The next thing that really helped was finding an internet friend that shared with me. She helped heal me as she was accepting of my feelings and let me share them with her. I didn't go to the beach in a woman's one piece because I wanted to be a woman. What was going on was I had a big emotional emptiness inside me. It wasn't about being a girl, or wanting to be a girl. It was wanting people to know that I didn't feel macho. I needed people to know that I felt caring and tender inside. I wanted them to know that I was a man but felt gentle. Where a lot of the confusion comes in is from being isolated as we grow up. When you don't have close friends who care about your feelings you can get internally confused because everything is locked up inside. What is damaging is also being made to feel like you are a sissy if you are not fully macho. Boys don't have to look girlish to be thought of as being sissy. Being forced to acted boyish 100% of the time probably leads to public crossdressing. If the tender feelings aren't allowed to be shown in a normal male way then out of the normal behaviors do seem to show up.

Cross dressing is NOT addictive physically. Any addiction you feel is only in your mind.
If you really want to stop, then choose to stop. Throw away all your women's clothes. Get rid of the shoes, lipstick, whatever else you use to dress like a woman. Then maybe go out and buy yourself a really nice new MAN's outfit. There's no reason you can't like your clothes! There's plenty of nice clothes for men out there.
If you feel like you are not in control when it comes to the cross dressing thing, that is a sign that there is something going on inside of you that you need to address. If you simply cannot get rid of your womens' clothes, that is a huge red flag that something is going on. You should probably try talking to a counselor about this and getting to the bottom of it so that you can be a happy, healthy, and free individual.

You can try, but you'll never be able to stop completely and it seems like you're having fun, so why try to stop, keep on dressing up and improving yourself as a woman.

well, it maybe be unusual for some people seeing you in women's clothes. but maybe your personality is trying to tell you something. maybe it's telling you that this is who you truly are. and you shouldn't be ashamed of who you are. it's none of their business if you dress like a woman anywhere you go. they're not suppose to judge you on how you look and dress. they should accept you for who you are and your personality. and remember, don't be ashamed, you're not the only one with this kind of problem and you shouldn't be afraid too. people with learn to accept you for how you dress and look like, no matter what. :)

Well, if you think you look good and you feel good dressed as a woman then go ahead and do it, as long as no one is getting hurt.

Yeah what to do. If it's a part of you and something you enjoy and would miss if you stopped ... then carry on.
Some will understand, some won't.

No, please don't do that. You'll only hurt yourself in the future. If you don't want it, then you can do it. That's only on your mind.
You need to pray and and sacrifice a lot to stop it...Why, not try to be involved in a church?

Yeah, girls clothes are so much more creative than guys. Seriously? Abstain, get a job as a transvestite, or get a sex change.
