i think he wants to date me . Sure i do like the guy & he is nice but i do not feel he is caring much about me or showing me much love..... i do not want to date a person who does not respect me enough or not treat me well as a friend.
i told him that I miss the romance in this relation .... i have tried what i can in this relation but he is not improving & I can not see him caring

If you have tried all you can and you are not happy then end it. Sometimes the right thing is the hardest thing to do.

Tell him that either he starts taking an interest in what is wrong with the relationship, or you will have to move on. Tell him that you are very unhappy with the situation as it is, and that if things don't change, you will need to break up. Be open about what you want him to do. Men do not think like women. You need to practically draw a picture for them.
