I know this guy from my team (we worked together on a project) and I suspected that he liked me a bit because he was always nicer to me than any of the other guys with who I worked. Recently, after finishing the assignment we had few drinks in a bar and he was touchy freely with me which I didn't mind because I liked him. We left the bar and he walked me home and he asked me if I needed to be walked to my room. I didn't want to give him the wrong impression so I panicked and declined but truthfully I wouldn't mind kissing him or cuddling. I just didn't want to go all the way. Now, if I invite him over will that give him the wrong impression? Is it different if a chick invites a guy over than if a guy invites himself over?

The thing is that he's more of a shy guy and he seems genuine to me (I've known him for 3 months). He said that he missed seeing me (we don't work together anymore). I also wonder: Would a guy rather makeout and cuddle than not get anything at all?

Invite him over for dinner and a movie. Tell him up front that you don't want to give him the wrong impression, but you would like the opportunity to get to know him better, since you enjoyed his company so much the other night. If he is a nice person, he will accept that.

Guys are progress-oriented. As long as we are moving forward (into your pants) we are happy. If we move backward or stay at the same place for a long time, we get frustrated and bored.

So, if he got to "first base" last time, he's going to try for at least "second base" this time. If he's a jerk he's gonna push for home each time. If he's your average guy, he's going to want a base. If you don't want him on second base, don't call him over. Instead, meet someplace and build the relationship.

Come over means only one thing to guys. Rounding the bases.

if you invite him over to your place of course your gonna be giving him the wrong impression (unless you want to have sex). look at it the other way around. if the guy invited you over to your house what would you think his intentions are?

Sounds like he just wanna F**k, If the feelings are mutual then go for it. But find out his motives first.
