Look for someone that obviously presents themselves well.. and has a fit & healthy look about them, also try and find someone you feel comfortable with and can trust.. (you can do some unflattering things infront of a trainer so it is good to be able to feel comfortable around them) also if you trust your trainer you will be more likely to push yourself that extra mile to please them.. get a trainer that is supportive and that does not use pesimistic words or put-down to motivate you... I would meet with a few trainers and find the one you are most comfortable with..

A closet gay. Most physical trainers are gays that are unwilling to come out of the closet. They obsess with working out to cope with being gay and check out the sausage at the gym. Or camel toe. whichever

first thing is to check their credentials. make sure they didn't get certified with some 1 week Internet program. test him/her with some questions that you definetly know the answer to
