the recipe for lasagna is not written in stone.
like pizza which can be "white pizza" (no sauce, but rather substituting pesto or dairy products such as sour cream. Most commonly, the toppings consist only of mozzarella and ricotta cheese) or made with bbq sauce, the only thing lasagna must have is maybe the noodles.
i made white lasagna before layering the noodles with bechamel sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmigianno reggiano and vegetables (spinach, zucchini and artichoke).
the vegetarians in my house loved it.
here's one recipe i randomly found:
http://www.ochef.com/r51.htm
and here's another from a website i use regularly:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Bechamel-Sauce/Detail.aspx
(i've never tried that recipe, but it got pretty good ratings)
good luck and bon appetit

Melt some butter in a saucepan. Add sufficient flour so that it become a paste, but the butter still bubble aound the edges. Cook for around 1 minute stirring. Add salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg. Gradually add hot milk, ensuring it is fully incorporated before adding more (cold milk will make it go lumpy - bad thing). Once the sauce is quite runny, turn the heat up and bring to the boil, stirring until thick.
Add your choice of cheese (parmesan is the most common, but some prefer cheddar or mozzerella or a few different types).
If you are feeling creative, peel an onion, get a bay leaf and attach to the onion using 2 cloves (this is called a cloute). Heat the milk gently with the dressed onion, and then use in the sauce.
I haven't given quantities as these will change depending on the freshness of your flour and they type of milk you use.

What you need is some butter, flour, milk and a pinch of salt.
Melt the butter in a sauce pan, than turn the heat down and the flour to the butter and you will get a flaky consisticy. Add some milk and heat medium high (not very high as it will burn) Continuously stirring keep on adding milk till you get the creamy consistency. Add some salt to taste.

White sauce basically contains: Flour, butter, milk or cream, parmesan cheese and garlic.
It is a variation of a classic Bechamel sauce.
You can also make it for pouring over pasta (Alfredo Sauce)

get a big thing of ricotta cheese, and or cottage cheese, 1 egg, some parsley and some parmesean cheese and mix it together.
None of the other people here that answered understood what you were asking for except me. They gave you ingredients for white sauce, but what you were asking for was the cheesy filling.
