I am part of a pit crew for a modified race car and we are always looking for country or older rock songs to pump us up when we are on the way to the race track and when we are in the pits. My dad and the driver of our car doesn't like rap or metal or any of that. So can anyone help me out?

I like Bruce Springsteens song "Racing In The Streets" from his live album from around 1979'ish. Not alot of people know about it. It's kind of slow so guys and girls like it. It kind of reminds me of "Like A Rock" from Bob Seeger.
Springsteens "Thunder Road" is good too.

Kathy Mattea's "455 Rocket" is always an excellent choice for Country.

"East Bound and Down" from Smokey and the Bandit.

Oh! There are some super fast songs that I liked to listen to when I was cooking in a bar when slammed. If he likes surf music then Dick Dale is excellent. "Free Bird" is always good. How about "Ina Goda Davida?" Kicks axx! I always loved Pat Benetar. Heart, BTO, Bad Company, Foreigner, Black Sabbath, Cream, Jefferson Airplane, The 'Stones, Led Zepplin are good shots. Have fun listening on Amazon.com's music store. They have short audio tracks that you can listen to on most albums.
