my hair is a little thick and straight
I want curls
how can i have big bouncy curls with out going to the salon
i need answers ASAP

You need to get your hair layered a bit.

Other than that - hot rollers are your quickest & easiest option.

You'll need layering to hold the style.
Either a good set of velcro or hot rollers.
Thermal styling spray or cream.
You'll need to experiment with the rollers or curling irons,
figure out which side you want to part on, etc.
Just play with it and have fun.

If you use rollers and roll your hair up, and then brush it back out (not all the way out ok) then thats how it will look. Or u can use a curling iron.. the ones that have a large barrel, used just for curling. try that.

her hair is layered, and side-swept
also those curls are spiral curls
first you take a strand of hair
wrap it once around the curling iron, then pull it up near the scalp and wrap the rest of the hair around it
also, when your hair is wet, use 3" velcro curlers for volume
always finish off with some type of hairspray or gel
