The rest of us are here to test you. When you are not looking we all disappear. But, don't worry, you can't catch us. It's built into the system, so it is impossible for you to catch us napping.

I thought I made a mistake, so I double-checked; I was wrong. There is no mistake.

You know-it-alls better repeat Phil 101, because existentialism is not even similar; as I know you will not have an idea of your own.

Interesting perspective.....
My take on the matter is this.... We are all real.... we are here to help each other become better beings......
The purpose of this sojourn is to learn from one another, help each other when we've forgotten the way home, and learn from one another.
Individually, we are but structures having a form of understanding.... The moment we peer out of this "house" at the world around us, we must learn how to motivate in it..... by doing so, we must learn from one another......
Truth is, not everyone's understanding is true..... and so we learn to teach them the difference, if they so choose to learn or fall in their own path......
We are greater when we can learn from one another..... No one person on this place has greater understanding, though some are greater "in" understanding than others.....
If there be stones in the path, and some who see say nothing, we all fall down.......
Your sister,
Ginger

Existentialism.
Okay. Then I guess I'm imagining typing the answer to this non-existent question asked by nobody.

That's one way of looking at it. An empirical way. What about the rational way which uses reason to assume presence when not being watched? Both ways have flaws. The only thing we seem to be able to know for sure is that we can't know anything for sure. That's assuming we exist at all.

Ooh, existentialism. To think that I wasn't aware of this fascinating stuff until just a few days ago!
Irregardless, this sounds a little out there.

That's not what my wife says. SHE's the only real person in the world. The rest of us are only figments of our own imaginations.

Ah, an existentialist in our midst. Ayn Rand would be proud.
