Maybe you should add more details. Because I don't see a problem. Why wouldn't Jesus fit into it? It seems to me the more habitable planets the less likely they happened by random chance. If there is no God how could it possibly matter what I believed, you believed or what anyone else believes? If there is no God face it you are wasting your time converting people not to believe in a non existent God. Every action taken by people who at best might live around one hundred years and then cease to exist would be completely useless including your vain attempts to destroy the faith of others. If there is no God there is no reason to care. Go to Jamaica enjoy the sun have a few drinks listen to some good music it makes a lot more sense than what your doing now.

I'm an atheist, but i have my take on this.

Reading Proverbs 8:22-31 will give one an idea that there already exists a planet (also referred to as 'earth') where god dwelt even before he created this one we have now... so i guess that opens up the possibility that god is an extraterrestrial being!

Proverbs 8:22-31:

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: WHILE AS YET HE HAD NOT MADE THE EARTH, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the HABITABLE PART OF HIS EARTH...

Well God was only concerned with Earth because of course that's where all his works were to occur right? The heavens are just the backstory in case Christians need to come up with a new version of events. If life is discovered on other planets then God is simply diversifying because we are all trashing his favored planet right? Besides, if the End Days are near then all the Christians are going "home" anyway and we won't have to listen to all the bible-thumpers anymore and we can enjoy our new planet in peace.

I find it amusing that the bible stated that God had created hundreds of new worlds 1000's of years before science did. Yet you continue find ways to bash the Christian perspective.

Seriously what is your problem with people who believe in God? Why is that such an issue for you? Do you feel threatened by us or something.

As for other planets, no where in the bible does it say that other planets don't exist, or that Jesus existance and purpose has anything to do with that either.

Your "attacks" might have more relevance if you had any unbias data to rely on, instead of petty ignorant stabs here and there.

Fit Jesus into what? The astronaut's suite? Now that's just silly. By the way, how long have you been a closet Christian? Who are you carrying that bag of guilt for? Let it go and be the Christian you secretly want to be.

Maybe another parallel to Mormonism, like Jesus visited that place too. That would be really cool, however, unfortunately, I think it is unlikely humans will ever find a new habitable planet.

Ps 33:6
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them
KJV

The host of THEM.

The Bible teaches that God made life elsewhere in the "heavens".

You thought Christians believe earth is the only inhabited planet?

Nope.

Theres about over 100 billion galaxies in the known universe. Can you imagine how many solar systems with planets revolving around a star there are.Yup neither can I.So what makes christians believe everything that's important exists here.Agree with you question.

it would just make the case for a Creator even more convincing...
for the odds of just one "habitable" planet (for intelligent life) happening by chance is hard enough... imagine 2 or more similar planets happening by chance...
