unfortunately, the first look at a picture really determines your faith.
Well Asian people don't have natural attributes like height or size.
It just means if an Asian person works out enough and dedicate enough of a time to make himself look like a stud he'll blow by any Caucasian, black or Hispanic.
Natural attributes are only whats given, but there is no limit with what you can do with it.
Kind of like me 5"7 175, stronger and faster than most point guards i went up against in division 3 basketball.
I haven't meet anybody who cant workout and improve themselves, except for the handicap.

My experience with dating an Asian man was through a classified ad in a newspaper years ago. He was of Chinese origin. On one date he took me to a Chinese restaurant and on the other he cooked for me at home. He was good looking, polite and pleasant, but rather introverted and did not "make a move" on me. After the second date we just both let it go. I did date another Chinese boy and he was a very sexy dancer and a good kisser. We met because of our mutual interest in the theater and because we both had a part-time job at the university library. We stopped seeing each other because he was bisexual and preferred men. Although it is true that many people who look for love through classified ads are shallow and care only about how much money the man makes or how tall he is, I believe it is also possible to meet really nice people in this way. The important thing is to keep trying, not give up. I have found it good to present the ad as looking for friendship rather than love. Real love should be based on friendship anyway. I also am no top model and so people who are looking for tall, skinny blondes don´t write to me. But if someone writes because I am interesting as a person, then sometimes when they meet me, they no longer mind that I am no sex goddess, but a woman who is attractive to them in spite of the fact that I do not match their list of things they want (blue eyes or whatever). I like this old song: "She´s got curly hair, I never cared for curly hair, but she´s got curly hair, that´s my weakness now."

A lot people prefer their own race because there are fewer interracial hassles. So your telling me the ratio is 1/4, that doesn't sound that bad considering there is sometimes 10 guys to 1 gal on those dating sites.
Personally I found it online ok if you work at it, but offline dating is much more fast and effective and I think thats true for any race.

that reserach is based on the assumption that all men wants caucasian women though..
I have a feeling that the asian guys had heaps of reply from asian ladies but the reserach only counted the replies from white women.
so I guess they're not "unsuccessful with online dating" but they're just unsuccessful with online dating with CAUCASIAN women
