I've waxed before and it grows back hard anyway. If you can't stand waxing, just trim it down so you look like a chimp rather than a gorilla.

Waxing or chemical depilatory. Either one, will, over time, damage the hair follicle, resulting in less hair growth. Nair and other brands now make 3 minute formulas that are very effective. I would not advise using them in the genital area, however.
