The question asker and myself are both OIF vets and liberals. I guess that's two for you.

I am a conservative. I enlisted and served seven years in the Air Force. My standards are quite high as are those of the U.S. military. How many liberals do you know who love their country enough to sacrifice their lives for it?

"THE STATE THAT SEPARATES ITS SCHOLARS FROM ITS WARRIORS WILL HAVE ITS THINKING DONE BY COWARDS, AND ITS FIGHTING DONE BY FOOLS" ------ Thucydides ( circa 460-400 BC )
Wherever you think Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Doug Feith, George W. Bush, John Kerry, etc. fit in this scenario, just go right ahead and drop them in.
The political kool-aid everyone in the George W. Bush administration is drinking requires plenty of juice from fresh-squeezed neo-cons.
Be sure to read the last three books by CHALMERS JOHNSON.

They were considering it...Currently the min GT is 70 which is close to IQ. Below 70 is considered mentally challenged. They did this during Viet Nam..McArthurs 100,000. Some of those guys were dumb as rocks.

Actually, liberals...
...who, by definition, are less apt to follow the rules or obey orders...
...would require more of a drop in standards.

I don't think convicts can join the army, unless they changed it on me.

Don't expect a flood of neocons to enlist.
They are only 'warmongers' here, in safe anonymity.
