No it is not wrong. Especially if you are willing to wait until she is of appropriate age for sex. Date casually, and publicly. Try not to be alone....those hormones can be very strong...and hard to ignore.

My spouse is 9 years younger than I am. As you get older, the age difference doesn't really matter much. At 19, it is a little different. If you are willing to wait to have sex with her, there is nothing wrong with it. If you can't wait to have sex, then make sure you know the laws where you live. It may not be illegal, but make sure.

You answered the legal side of things on your own. Now the moral. This is a sort of a gray area because its not entirely immoral because in theroy your not sexing her, but the people with the older way of thinking are not going to condone it.
On the flipside the females are going to be like oohh so daring love has no boundries.
Me, im going to say as long as you didnt lure her to the car with candy (hehehe) then its fine.
But if you love each other you probally wont care what people think anyway :)

I think It looks shady. But the older you get the less difference it will make. The part that strikes me as funny is that you seem yo respect the law more than this young lady. Your willing to wait for her to turn 18 to have sex because a law says so, but wouldn't wait till you were married.

Three years is always wrong if the person is still a minor and you are an adult. Realistically speaking, if you date her now you will probably not be able to avoid being sexually involved with her for the next two years.
Play it safe, stick with the 18+ crowd.

check the age of consent in your state. it could be 16 or possibly seventeen. age is a state of mind. however breaking the law is not. a lot of older people might look at what you're trying to do and think that your only interest is to take advantage of this young girl's innocence but you know, kids grow up really fast these days. just be smart and talk to HER about it. if you love her and you have to wait, you can wait.

if you know that to be sexually involved is illegal, you are good to go...you can date her and wait for her to turn 18, and don't give in to the pressure of having sex even if she wants to...remember, you could go to jail if something did not turn out the way you hope.

Love has no age, usually, people who marry may have an age range of 5 years, really, i don;t think u'll get into trouble, u can only get in trouble if she blaimed u for sexual harrassment or sexual abuse but if u two get along with each other, i know u'll do the right thing....

19 and 16? That's fine. 3 years doesn't make that much of a difference.
