Do what ever makes you life happy but if you want a higher paying job in 20 years i would vote for power engineering. There will always be a need for electronic engineers but the pay will be lower.

I'd go for power engineering. Electronic engineering jobs are rapidly disappearing from the US as production, development and even R&D are being outsourced by everyone. No new nuclear plants have been built in 28 years and are desperately needed. Demand is going up and there are not many grads majoring in this field. Go for power.

i think you should be an electrical power engineer because electronics and electrical are boring by themselves.

they are both specialties of electrical, i chose electronics and to that to the medical field...lots of fun.
