I highly recommend it!! My 15 year old daughter and I both use it and it is WONDERFUL!! Yes it works for us. I started buying it because a friend of mine has used it for years, she has severe acne and when she started using it her skin cleared right up. She has been using it since it came out. It is worth every penny! Good luck!!

It works ok, if you wanna go that route go Acnefree, its cheaper and it's the same thing and you can get it at the store. I have used both and they helped, but didn't ever clear up my skin completely. Depends on your type of acne. I struggled for years and the other day I bought this stuff called facedoctorRX complexion soap from an herbal store, it works awesome, Ive never felt comfortable without makeup and I've been going out without it. This is what I use and its the only thing that's ever worked for me and it's pretty inexpensive, a lot cheaper than proactive.

1) Cleanse with FacedoctorRx complexion soap. (look it up)

2) Tone with 50% apple cider vinegar (buy the best, it's super cheap) 50% water. (swear-balances pH)

3) Apply Miracell skin renewal oil (great for scars-wont make you break out, all natural and helps prevent wrinkles too)

4) Use Acnefree pimple peel lotion (the peel is good too, I use it every other night-also good for scars) with a little bit of the acne free (or other) extended release benzoyl peroxide lotion mixed with it.

It seems like a lot of stuff, but it's all relatively cheap and lasts along time. You can get it all at longs or rite aid accept the soap and Miracell, which I found at my local vitamin/health food shop. You can order it off the net too. It really works and it sounds weird but go try it if you want clear skin and especially if you still have the red scarring cause it speeds up healing time dramatically.

I bought it just to see what it was all about and it does work, but then again so does any regular washing/moisturing program. Neurtogena works just as well at 1/3rd the cost, but I like the way Proactive makes my skin feel. It's clear but it's soft too.

My brother used it about 10 years ago when he was a teenager before it got real big. He had acne really really bad and after using it for about a year he never got acne ever again. I would say that it works. It really depends on your type of skin though. I have had friends that tried it and it did not work. Those friends decided to use that pill (forgot the name) and it cleared it up perfectly. Talk to your doctor about what acne medication is best for your type of skin.

It works, but it's expensive. Neutrogena makes a similar concept (3 step system) that worked great for me.
The thing that works better than any product is your diligence in using it - following the instructions perfectly.

It does, but it dried my skin sooo bad. It felt tight and itchy. But if your willing to deal with this then it did work. Everyone is different, so I might have more sensitive skin than you. They have a money back guarentee.

my girlfriend uses it and swears by the stuff.....and to offset the cost of the junk she uses less than the recommended amount and it still works equally well
