I've never had a weight problem, but from what I've read, exercise and dieting go hand in hand. You'll burn a lot more calories by watching what you eat. If you just do exercises and take in more calories, you're defeating your purpose.
As for diet pills, some of them could be harmful. I don't advise them. However, the weight-loss programs, like Jenny Craig, that send you a two-week supply of food for each of the three meals, plus snacks, have helped a lot of folks reach their weight goal. 1500 calories a day,low fat,lots of vegetables and fresh fruit.Nofast foods,junk food,junk snacks,soda,or sugary drinks.Eat 6 small meals a day,even spaced but keep to 1500 cal/day.Drink at least 1 gallon water a day and 1 glass of cold before each meal.Drinking cold water burns calories because body has to heat water to room temp.Also,helps to make you feel full and get your body to speed up its metabolism on its own w/ no drugs.It works,Good Luck....BTW...normal w/loss is @ 1 to 1 and 1/2 pounds a week

you will maintain your normal body weight if you eat in calories what is 15 times your weight
In other words if you are 100 lbs and want tp stay at that you must eat 1500 calories per day
If you want to lose 50 pounds you need to subtract 50 from 220 whicj leaves you at 170
170 x15 is 2500 calories
is you stick to 2500 calories you willl eventually come down to that weight

i did aqua aerobics twice a week and normal laps in a pool once a week and changed my eating style to mostly organic food and also look on the nutritional chart on the food and make sure the sugars are no more than 10grams in it so even if it says its 98% fat free check for the sugar and i bet its over 20 which then sugar turns to fat etc.This really helped me im not sure about the calories tho.And dont forget drink mainly water aswell.Good luck.
