My Dog was Ppered Sprayed?

Good Evening,

I was at the local dog park, where my city allows dogs to run off the leash in a fenced dog area.

It was a Sunday, I was there for 30 minutes with my Doberman, and a guy just got there and walked past me with a can in his hand, did not think much of it. He had a small "Pug" with him.

Five minutes later I see my dog barking at his little dog, I ran over to put a end to it. As I get there, my dog, a child behind me were sprayed with Mace.

I told the guy if ever sprayed my dog or any other in the dog park and I was there I would kick his ***.

He went on to say that every time he comes to the park, his dog is picked on.

I am pissed, the child's father who got sprayed is pissed, I ended up leaving.

How would you have reacted to the situation.

take your dog to the vet and make sure it is okay and then call the park ranger or your county parks dept to report the incident . do you have a description of the man ? if so give it to the park ranger and the county will make him post signs that this behavior is unacceptable and if anyone is caught doing this they will have a hefty fine and will have to pay for your animals vet bill . I know that they are very strict about that here .;

It would of made me mad too.;hope his eyes are OK ,you may need to call the vet to see if you need to put something in the dogs eyes to prevent infection.who knows what that stuff could do .
