Actually ,similar situations might be observed in reality and even in modern society under unique circumstances. I once remembered that a guy, who strive to survive from a disastrous earthquake, ate his own body tissue. Another example might be a monk, who was convinced that he could be purified via self-destruction, ate his own tissue.

So the core issue here is in which situation that particular person being directed?

To your question, I think this might happen and yes, I believe it.

First, the word "Rapture" is not used in any of the bibles in my collection. Second, if you read 1 Thessaloniana 4:16 through 4:18 there is mention of having to "console" or "comfort" each other in "meeting the Lord." This does not to meet any requisites of a rapture. Therefore, the eating of flesh fits no where in the scenario you have described.

The Rapture is already nonsense, but even ignoring that for the moment, that's also nonsense. Wouldn't there be all this leftover food? Why not eat that instead?

The Bible makes no sense.

EDIT: LOL at Neeva C above me! So what, are the people supposedly left behind going to be granted IMMORTALITY? ****, sounds like a fair trade to me, lol.

I don't know where you got that idea.
I know if you miss the rapture, your going to wish you hadn't.
Give your heart to God. He LOVES you so much!
God Bless.
