Psychic phenomenon, I am convinced, is real. Because we have people charging money for it make me suspicious of it. Like Balaam was independent of those that were God's people, and the king who tried to employ him believed it.

I have had psychic expereinces. I am a Christian now, but before and after I became a Christian, I've had psychic experinces. I am convinced that they are spiritual experiences. It was one way God let me know that spirits and spirtual expression was real. I didn't have to wonder anymore.

Once past that hurdle, I became aware of God through Jesus Christ. And I've been a Christian now for over 20 years.

Those that charge money for psychic abilities are either phonies or they are using their talent selfishly. That's my opinion.

The problem is... god never says ANYTHING! In ALL history, there has NEVER been ANY verifiable evidence to even suggest that a god has communicated with us.

Furthermore, there has NEVER been ANY verifiable evidence that psychics have any special ability whatsoever.

The great magician, Houdini, desperately wanted to find a psychic that could help him contact his dead mother, but he could not find a single one. In fact, because he was a master of deception himself, he was able to expose them all as fakes and frauds! He also made a pledge to his wife that he would do all he could to communicate with her after he died. Nada. Zilch. Nothing.

Sylvia Browne has a poor track record. She was in the news a couple months ago when a kidnapped boy was found -- Sylvia had previously pronounced him dead.

God's view on psychics?

Now I've heard everything.

Oh, I wonder what Fred Flintstone thinks about Harry Potter.

I am not sure what definition you apply to "God", so it is difficult to answer this question.

The Holy Bible has many references to the gift of prophecy as being a highly welcomed human attribute.

I personally believe that the gift of prophecy should not be misused.

I'm not sure what measures, we could use to decide who is genuine and who is not.

"Thou shall not permit a witch to live." That's God's view on psychics.

God says in His Word that He hates them. I believe that God hates them because they hear from spirits, evil spirits, that lead people away from God.
