nah! most of us are in it for the glory, albeit anonymous. can't be for the money - there isn't any. can't be for 100% community service because some of the questions asked can be very silly or make no sense at all. in fact some of the questions strangely sound like homework assignments that someone is too lazy to look up the answers (themselves). look. i don't mind helping people out, here and there, from time to time, but frankly if you are going to use people's brains (pick them so to speak) be honest about it & you might get an honest answer. and, yeah, i suppose a tiny bit of me likes to know the answers given can be helpful but we really don't know if anyone reads what we write or use the info given, right? so it's really all one-sided. oh well, that's life!

Yes I agree, It's nice to know that with all the problems in the world, we, as humans can still find time to offer a helping hand in a non judgemental manner. I rarely ask questions, I prefer to answer them (usually with a bit of humour thrown in) because, as my kids school motto says "In giving, we receive". I admit, I have shed the odd tear now and then when replying to a sad situation but I get more out of it than those (I hope) I offer some guidence to.

I agree. I totally love helping people with anything, and want to help people, or share my opinions on different subject areas. I really love that feeling when I get the best answer. I just get this feeling of accomplishment and just want to help people even more.

Yes I completely Agree. It is nice to help people. It just gets irritating sometimes when people post nonsense. They should only be allowed a certain amount of stupid questions, then not be allowed to ask anymore!!!! It takes away from people that really do have real questions they want help with.

Most people on YA enjoy imparting knowledge and sharing ideas, and helping others. Then there are those who simply want to wreak havoc, create dissension, and play head games. Sort of like the world we live in apart from technology!

Some what..............I just enjoy the crazy questions people ask and some of the crazy-er answers people come up with. LOL! Really it's just 10min of cheap entertainment for me.
That and, I may be a bit of a dumb *** but there is always someone on here that reminds me, I'm not as dumb as them. LOL!

it's all about contribution. sometimes I'll have a lot of time to answer lots of questions, sometimes I just want one answered, or want people's opinions about things. I'm glad people take the time to help each other. It's a lot better than a chat room, I think.
