ive had it for a few years..and i cant find the CHI website or contact info. What should i do? my straightener wont turn on and i really want my hair straight tomorrow
please only answers regarding fixing my straightener, thats what i mostly care about. it costed me a lot of money

Hey,
I have really curly hair and go through hair straighteners a lot. Three years for yours is very good. But my advice is that you'll pro bally just have to buy a new one. I go through one about every two years or less. I have had many brands including the chi (which is very good). The straightener did you good with three years service but its time is up. Time to go shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!

You said you've had it for a few years... Those things only last for about 1yr of usage, so it's probably time for you to buy a new one. You know how clothes wear out and don't last forever no matter the price? The same goes for flat irons.
You can check the warranty that came with the orginal package and find your receipt and see what happens.

I've been using chi irons for years and they only last around a year. Mine even with minimal use still crap out around a year. Time for a new one! Buy one on ebay, you can get them around $30 or more cheaper than if you bought them at a salon. thats what I do.

they are expensive. I love mine. Have you tried moving the cord to see if maybe there is a short in it? Since the cord is constantly moving, something mite have come loose inside. The warranty is now out so you will have to purchase another one probebly. I'd take it apart and check the wiring.

Check the warranty. if it expired, just buy a new one. They usually don't work for more than 5 years...
