I had it at a Thai food place and it is terrific. It kinda has a creamy flavor and is lighter than typical peanut butter...that's why I think it has like mayo or something. Do you know of any good recipes?

Peanut Butter Salad Dressing

I think you take

2 tbsp. peanut butter
2 tbsp. honey
1/2cup mayonnaise

Mix the peanut butter and honey together then you add the 1/2 cup of mayonnaise.

Put your peanut butter in saute pan/small pot depending on amount you want to have. Gently heat it up until it becomes liquid. Start to slowly add oil to it while stirring with a whisk until slightly more fluid than desired consistency, this is because oil and peanut butter solidify when cooling. Once you have gotten to desired consistency, add your seasonings/chiles..... etc. once seasonings are addedcut the heat, continue to stir it until cooled a little. Continue to stir occasianally until cooled, then use.!

Peanut butter is thick and oilly. Oil will dilute this some and add fluidity. I'd assume peanut oil would be best for taste, but probably any oil would do as long as your careful to use it before the dreesing breaks.

Here's the simplest recipe for Thai Style peanut sauce:

Spicy peanut sauce:
1/4 cup room temperature chunky peanut butter, soften in microwave if it has been refrigerated
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar or white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Whisk peanut butter, soy sauce, vinegar and cayenne together. Stream in vegetable oil.

I think I know what you are talking about-

Take peanut butter and heat in microwave to melt it a little. Stream/wisk in, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and light olive oil.

uhm. i don't know but that sounds incredible haha salad is my favorite food.

i bet you could just make a regular thai peanut spicy sauce (you know what i mean?...) and that would do it.

or you could call the restaurant.
