Night training takes a lot longer than potty training. Put a plastic cover on the mattress, put him in pullups, and don't sweat it. When his body matures enough to wake him in the night, he'll do it on his own.
This is perfectly normal - many boys wet their bed until age 6,
and some until 12. This is partly hereditary, and partly how soundly they sleep. Most families just don't talk about it in front of other people.
If you or your wife had any bed-wetters in your families, they are more likely to wet longer [ no, it doesn't have to be you -each of my sisters and I had one bedwetter, and only one of us had wet the bed.] I have one that did it until age 7, and one that woke up dry at 1 year.

Your son is still very young, and bed-wetting is common at his age.
My advice is to limit his water intake before bedtime, and to have him use the bathroom right before you tuck him in. Doing that and having him wear pull-ups should cut down on his number of accidents... though it probably won't eliminate them until he's a bit older and his bladder has the chance to mature.
(Oh, and be sure that you invest in a few protective coverings for your mattress. There's nothing like cleaning up a mess in the middle of the night and finding that you've run out of mattress covers.)
Good luck!

put him in pull up for the night time it could be that he sleeps so deeply that he doesnt wake up in time to get to the bathroom or his bladder isnt as large as it should be
most of all though dont make him feel bad when it happens that can make it happen even more because hes stressed out about it....he'll eventually outgrow it though i cant promise exactly when since i wet the bed until 3rd grade. so if you use the pullups then make sure you praise im if they're dry in the morning

Don't let him drink too much close to bedtime, make sure he goes to the toilet before he lays down, and don't make a big issue of it if he does wet the bed. Making him nervous or tense about it will agravate the problem. He will grow out of it

this is VERY normal----many boys are not trained until 3 1/2. I have one the same age and I am not even starting training until later in the summer.....
I would do the pull ups---get him up before you go to bed to pee.....and then just accept that many boys don't 'get it' overnight for some time.

watch his intake before bed, try to have him go before a couple of times, don't make a big deal if he has an accident, but i strongly advise against the pull ups, thats like giving up, it might take a while but he will get better and better, if you put pull ups on him you will be going backwards, and if it is uncomfortable he will learn to stop, if you put them on him, he might start wanting them in the daytime, they make trainer undies you can try
also i agree with the answer above, about the covers

He is still young, give him time. When was he fully potty trained? Don't give him anything to drink within 1 or 2 hours of going to bed, and be sure to have him go before bed!

i know how frustrating this can be,but let me tell you ,if you don't already know.boys are harder to train first of all and second they can sometimes have a medical problem where there bladder doesn't grow with them and they can wet the bed well into there teens.my nephew had to be medicated for it.just thought i'd share that with you.be patient!!!!

put him in pull ups, accidents happen and alot of little boys arent fully potty trained til age 3. Its harder at night and your son might infact have a medical condition where his bladder is not as big as it should be or he may not feel the urge to go.
