first you need to get a trim.....get trimmed on the regular..if it curls out and puffs like that..it means it's all dead.
two things
1....THIS IS IF YOU HAVE THICK OR THIN HAIR
heat up olive oil (purer the better), drench your hair in it, wrap your head with plastic wrap, and place a towel around your neck (both things are because sometimes it gets drippy) and keep in your hair for an hour, then wash out with shampoo and conditioner.........don't slip in the shower though.....it will 100% imporove your hair...I had similar hair to you..and the first time I did it, it felt like a babies hair......you can do this once a week or every other week.....the more you use this the more it will heal repair, control frizzyness, etc etc...(does everything)
2....THIS IS IF YOU HAVE THIN HAIR
heat up coconut oil and do the same thing as above....
this doesn't really work well on thick hair......it tangles, and frizzes out thick hair
seriously do this...everyone I have ever told (I am a girl...and plus I am a girl who loves to talk a lot) has never stopped doing this..I have gotten people hooked..do it

Don't listen to the one suggesting tresseme, panteene, and garnier, those products build up on your hair and make it lay down and get very heavy. I suggest you visit a salon and have them suggest a good shampoo and deep conditioner, and also ask them to shampoo it with a clarifying shampoo. It removes any product build up you have on your hair already.

In ye olden days they useda use sheep placenta to condition the hair - no joke - bloody sheep afterbirth. Smelled like hell, made you gag and barf, but did the job. Sheep farmers' wives had the glossiest, shiniest, strongest hair.
