then advocate harm or death towards the President? If they don't agree with his politics, fine. A lot of people don't. But, isn't it hypocritical for a muslim to say how peaceful islam is and how it is the only "pure" religion and blah blah blah, then say that someone should kill Bush or they hope he dies 10 mins later? To me, that shows the true intent of muslims and what islam really is about. It is about peace between muslims, but that is all. And while there are 1.4 billion muslims or whatever and certainly they are not all terrorists, polls show that well over 90% of muslims support attacks against americans, civilians or or otherwise. so if a muslim isn't beheading someone, then they are cheering on someone that is beheading someone.

Islam is a totalitarian and exclusive religion.

People who claim that they can be a Muslim and make up the tenets of the faith for themselves are deceivers of themselves and others. You either believe, and practice, what the Quran teaches and are a "Muslim" or you don't believe, or practice, what the Quran teaches and are subsequently NOT a "Muslim" ! There isn't an in between.

Islam is a religion that practices FORCED, by the sword, AK47 etc, conversion. It is by its' own text a religion of violence ! To say it isn't is either ignorance or deception. To claim you are a peaceful Muslim is similar to saying you are a murdering pacifist ! You are one or the other, but not both !

There is good and bad in all of the worlds religions. The various founders of the major world religions were all loving beings and it was only the followers that have perverted and distorted the true teachings. If one is more self aware then you would see that there is a true foundation at the base of all the world religions and that is the foundation of love. Most people of the worlds faiths are decent and peace full beings. More blood has been spill ed in the name of Christianity than any other. The most peace full religion that I know of is that of Buddhism and the teachings of Lord Maitreya the Faith Buddha. My information as an occultist is that the World Teacher will bring all of the world religions together as one community, one world religion for all men of goodwill everywhere and its leader is now amongst us and will declare himself very soon.

most would prefer to be peaceful, but feel violated and defensive. So to say you support whatever in Iraq is in relation to the world climate at this time and percieved US aggression. It is fringe groups that want total death to infidels and do terrorist attacks. But really this fighting is long standing and we've been involved for 60 yrs or more. Nothing is entirely unprovoked anymore.

Attacking Islam is something our free society wishes to avoid. Martin Luther King said we were the greatest purveyors of violnce in the world. Hipocrasy is on both sides, the priest is on hand when you swing from the gallows. Bush qoutes god and sends young men off to war. It's bigger than red team and blue team and requires a world perspective you don't see.

The Bible has passages that persons used to condone homicide, slavery, exploitation of others and on and on.All religious books have many passages that must be used as an excuse to be violent in case you pick to be. people who're sensible merely comprehend that those texts have been written in language that replaced into meant to incite religious fervor and could be study extra symbolically for actual existence. So a common muslim will merely take those Coran passages to point he ought to circulate out of his thank you to coach by skill of his stable behaviour that his God is the genuine one ,which will deliver the believers of different religions to undertake his faith. you comprehend ,it replaced into the Christians who first went to Muslim international places to forcibly convert Muslims-and kill them if needed- and not any other way around by fact lower back then Christians accompanied the Bible actually.

I guess you could turn around and ask why Christians claim to have a religion of peace and love and then fervently support war. It's the same hypocrisy. In the gospels Jesus says blessed are the peacemakers. He was against violence and war. And yet, Christians, who claim to be his followers, have somehow found ways to justify both being a Christian and being for war.

The average Muslim, like the average Christian, may hold contradictory, hypocritical beliefs. That's how most people are.

There are 1.3 BILLION Muslims in the world.

200 Al Quaida members and about 5,000 of their nutcase friends are causing all the trouble.

The other 1.299,994,800 Muslims are trying to live quiet peaceful lives, just like you and I.

And the polls you're reading are from extreme right Christian nutcases that are hoping to promote hatred between the West and Islam for their own purposes.

God is the peaceful one.......
This being true, a person should focus their attention on God and fill the heart with Gods love. If this is done then there will be peace and love within the person and this peace and love will radiate outwardly into the world.
Creating an army of peace-bearers is what will allow humans of all faiths to live in unity.........

Yes, it is hypocritical. Islam is really about the Quran, not Muslims. Read it.

If they seek peace, then seek you peace. And trust in God for He is the One that heareth and knoweth all things. [8:61]

Whoever kills another one without justifiable cause, surely he is killing all of humanity. And whoever saves the life of another one, surely he saves the lives of all of humanity. [Sura Al Ma'aidah: Ayah 32]

I am a Christian, but my understanding is that the Muslim faith is quite similar in terms of morals to Christianity. Not only Muslims, but Christians, are also inflicted with a lunatic fringe (for example Protestants versus Catholics in Northern Ireland). I am certain that the vast majority of Muslims only wish to get on with their lives in a decent fashion, and bear us no ill will.

The ones here claim Islam is a "religion of peace" in the hopes that we won't institute our own jihad and have every Moslem arrested and jailed indefinitely as an obvious enemy of the state (ever see "The Siege" with Tony Salhoub?) That our supposedly Christian President (not he's not) goes along with this malarkey tells me that they have something else in mind, but I can't figure out whether it's lull the Moslems into a moment when we wipe 'em all out or are going to capitulate entirely.
