And while there are 1.4 billion muslims or whatever and certainly they are not all terrorists, polls show that well over 90% of muslims support attacks against americans, civilians or or otherwise. so if a muslim isn't beheading someone, then they are cheering on someone that is beheading someone.

People who claim that they can be a Muslim and make up the tenets of the faith for themselves are deceivers of themselves and others. You either believe, and practice, what the Quran teaches and are a "Muslim" or you don't believe, or practice, what the Quran teaches and are subsequently NOT a "Muslim" ! There isn't an in between.

In the gospels Jesus says blessed are the peacemakers. He was against violence and war. And yet, Christians, who claim to be his followers, have somehow found ways to justify both being a Christian and being for war.

I am a Christian, but my understanding is that the Muslim faith is quite similar in terms of morals to Christianity. Not only Muslims, but Christians, are also inflicted with a lunatic fringe (for example Protestants versus Catholics in Northern Ireland).
