According to the law of Moses, No. But your question has an incorrect assumption. God does not send anyone to hell. In fact, scripture shows clearly that it is not God's will at all.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that ANY should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.
But God will not interrupt any man's free will to choose. We go there because we choose not to be with God. If you do not want God, He will send you where none of His light or love exists. Jesus describes this as a place of eternal torment and outer darkness.
Any good or bad acts we do are not what send us to hell. It is by ignoring the free gift of salvation offered by Jesus' finished work on the cross. You could be a good man on the Titanic, or a bad man. Your choice of salvation or destruction depends on whether or not you get in the lifeboat.

As I see it there are no accidents. Your life is planned out. Perhaps he hit you with a club or a tommy hawk in another life time and you were just an actor in the play. Life is a class room and much is played out like a play so we gain knowledge through experience. Jesus said you shall reap what you sew. Those who live by the sword, will die by the sword. Father forgive them, they know not what they do.
Love your enemies. His instruction is telling his disciples that if you live without Love and you harm someone, you will be harmed yourself. It can be this lifetime that Karma brings back to you what you dished out. It may not just be once either. I have experienced a turn about for the one thing I did , four times in this life time. Watch and see how it works for you. The old saying, what goes around, comes around was not said without experience. As far as going to hell. I think what Jesus said was the truth. You build up your treasures in Heaven. Meaning, that what you do adds or subtracts to your over all vibration. When you pass over, you will be attracted to like vibrations. If you are evil, you will be attracted to one of the many Mansions of God, (Dimensions) . If you kill someone and it was not intentional, it is not murder. It is killing someone by error of judgement. Not premeditated. Now if you were God, would you send someone to hell for an non-evil act. I sure would not.
You may be tried in a human court and be killed yourself so you will reap what you sew, or this may just be a way to learn from the experience.
My mind says no, you will not go to hell if it happened by an unintended event.
But you may reap what you sew at some time in the physical althought.

In Christianity, the only unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. In other words: If you know that everyone has sinned, and that God cannot tolerate sin, and you know that God sent Jesus Christ (born of a virgin, fully God; yet fully man) to take the punishment that should have been yours. If you know all of that and still reject God's mercy, then you (and anyone else) will end up in hell. Please think about this, confess your sins to God, turn from your sins, and put your faith in the one true Savior, Jesus Christ.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Do you think that you are a pretty good person and will not end up in hell? Take the Good Person Test at the link below.

According to Christianity, all have sinned, and sin means hell, but God made a way for us to get to heaven, and that is through Jesus Christ.
On the deeper level, I'd say that if that's the only thing you ever did in your life, there was probably some sin involved somewhere, the definition of sin being anything outside of faith. I guess I'd need more details, though...

An accident is just that....an accident. You had no intent on doing harm to your friend, therefore, you are guilty of nothing. This hell concept is an invention of ancient man. If I was to consider what hell is supposed to be like, that would totally be senseless. Spirits/souls cannot experience pain, thirst, hunger, or sexual urges, because of the lack of a body.

Well, in Christianity when you die you go to 'purgatiry' and there jesus gives you the CHOICE of going to hell or not.
In accordance to scripture, noone has even chosen to go to hell except for 'the devil' and I read somewhere (When doing research for my Study of Religion assignment) that Hitler also chose to go to hell. So Ha.
I doubt if you killed someone accidently you would go to hell because if it was an accident God would know whether you meant it or not and whether your heart was pure... thats another way of looking at it,
I personally would just not risk anything and try my hardest not to kill anyone =P

I heard recently that hell is where you go in your head if you do something wrong.Your conscience will haunt you by making you feel bad and not letting you forget it.I am catholic and I don't believe in the inferno.theory If you are really worried about things like that then you should be careful where you wrestle.

"hele" - French, to conceal.
If you attempted to conceal the occurence, or some potent aspect thereof, from yourself, you would create a hell, and likely later visit it, either before or after death.
Further, if you be strongly enough linked in such wise (or unwise !!) to a religious stream which would consign you to one of their pre-packaged tours, so to speak, again, you would likely visit that socially substantiated, as distinct from personally necessitated, hell.
Note: Not all humans survive long after death in my experience. Hell is not a home away from home for hellions.

Death comes to us all. If you unintentionally kill a person that means you did not do it because you were disobeying a commandment of God. There is a difference between disobeying a commandment of God and going against what a commandment says. In the bible there were many wars in order to keep the Jews from being destroyed. God protected his people but he allowed them to fight for their freedom and there is lots of justified death in the bible. The commandments are not given to the righteous people they are given to the evil people to warn them of what is wrong.

Murder is a forgive able sin. Only rejection of the Gospel message will send you to hell. Both require a conversation with God and repentance.
