I learned that batgirl doesn't like elephants.
And I learned that I never once thought to ask whether or not my partners-in-crime were religious or not. Well, look at that. We *can* all get along :)

I learned a lot...
The best thing I learned is that it's OK for an ordinary person to keep an elephant as a pet, and no one really minds....
Also, that a lot of people know a lot more than I do about an elephant's coat and how to preserve and groom it.
( I though the iron on a low temp was the best answer, but have never seen them doing this at my local zoo....and we spend a lot of time watching the wonderful elephants at the zoo.)
the best thing we've seen at the zoo is, after Christmas, they give these elephants leftover Christmas trees for a snack (seriously) and these guys just strip those trees down for all that yummy good spruce, fir, pine foliage etc....
Who knew?
I can't look at Christmas trees the same after seeing how those elephants go to town on them....very interesting....

I learned that B@tgirl has absolutely no sense of humor. In particular, she doesn't find humor from the 60's entertaining in the least.

The man with one eye and a funny hat told me about his conspiracy theories and I learned that the U.S. government is run by aliens and that the Chinese are the chosen race. I learned that the plants grown in a greenhouse are actually trying to take over the world. He told me about how his python is a reincarnated sage from a long time ago, and it tells him to burn things in the name of the holy mousepad.
I also learned not to accept subatomic particles from strangers.

We learnt that there are a few people who have a sense of fun, and can actually think outside the box for a little while.
