no, its a very bad plan - all you will lose is water weight and muscle not fat plus you will dramatically slow down your metabolism which will make fat loss in future even harder. not even talking about the fact that you will gain back even more than lost as soon as start eating normal again.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Heres where you stand, Tennis is a form of cardio, and cardio eats calories, which your body has almost none. You know that sleeping for 8 hours is burning 500+ calories. Imagine tennis! You need more calories, i mean comon. Your body is going to go through so much trama if you dont eat right, you will be depleting your muscle, (muscle tissue is a source of protein, which your body, if in such lack of calories, burns to make glucous.) When you lose that much muscle, you lower your metabolism. Which is how you lose weight! Miricale diets and stavation are a load of bull, if you lose any weight, it will be from mostly extreme muscle loss. And, you will gain it back extremely fast(the fat) and since you lost the muscle, you wil have more room for the fat to build(note that muscle and fat cant be turned into the other, vis versa.) I say eat a good diet that makes sense, talk to a nutritionest, or even a doctor, cause the doctor would say that is bad eating nothing. Hope this helps!

My answer is no, it's not a good way to lose weight.
You would seem to be lacking dairy in your diet, as well as protein. A better plan would be to eat healthy throughout the day, and increase your amount of exercise. Weight loss will be slower but more lasting this way. Do not skip meals, but rather eat something light and healthy for lunch (at least).
You could snack on nuts to get protein, and even low fat or skim milk qualifies as dairy. Aim to eat rounded meals, especially prior to exercising, because your body will need that food for energy.
Also, don't make it your goal to be skinny! Make it your goal to be fit and healthy, as your best body shape isn't that of an airbrushed model in a fashion magazine. Even those women don't have perfect bodies; they have retouched bodies. Try not to forget that.
Eat nutritionally, I'm saying, then exercise more. You could add specific exercises then, to target your 'problem areas,' like crunches or using weights. You can eat more and still pay attention to your caloric intake, to make sure you are burning more calories than you are taking in, but don't deny your body the basic nutrients that it will need for so many long-term reasons, let alone for short-term energy (so you can exercise more).

No. You are not getting enough calories. When you do not provide your body with enough calories it goes into 'starvation mode'. This means that your metabolsim slows way down and your body will hang onto any and every calorie that you put into it because it thinks there is a shortage of food and doesn't want you to starve. If you keep this up for too long you can ruin your metabolism for the rest of your life. Your breakfast is okay, but it needs some protein and calcium. Maybe mix one tablespoon of natural peanut butter into your oatmeal, and have a glass of calcium enriched orange juice. If your first meal is at 6 your second small meal should be no later than 10 am. Maybe have some yogurt, berries, and bran cereal, or a sweet potato with veggies. This will help you have more energy for your tennis practice and you can work harder and burn more calories. You should eat again right after you work out. Perhaps a tuna, spinach, tomato, cucumber and whole wheat cracker salad. For dinner you should eat something substantial. It doeasn't have to be huge. Maybe some whole wheat bread dipped it hummus, or kidney beans in tomato sauce on whole wheat toast with your choice of veggies. Soup is extremly high is sodium, and you really shouldn't make a habit of eating it. When you want to lose weight, eat a lot of small meals. This will help keep you from feeling very hungry and binge eating. Also, try to include fiber in every meal, as this will help you feel fuller sooner, and for longer, but will not make you gain weight. After I eat dinner around 5pm I don't let myself have any more food until the next morning. However, sometimes I get hungry, so I will have a some lentils or chick peas. They are good for you, and have a lot of fiber with low calories and practically no fat. This will keep you from eating junk before bed time. Here's some tips: stay away from granola cereal (read the nutrition info, a lot of it is really bad for you), don't eat muffins (they have as much fat as a big mack), be careful with smoothies (some are as bad for you as milk shakes), stay away from granola bars (same as the cereal, surprisingly bad), opt for fresh veggies over frozen, and forzen over canned (anything in a can has alot of sodium that you don't need). Also, learn to use plain yogurt in the place of sour cream, cream cheese, cheese, or mayonaise. I make my tuna salad with tzakiki sauce (yogurt, cucumber, lemon and garlic). Never skip breakfast. Your metabolism slows down when you sleep, and breakfast tells your body that it's okay to rev the metabolism again because the nighttime 'fast' is over. If you want to lose weight learn to snack on veggies and fruit, and stay away from all those packaged 'lean cuisine' dinners. They are low in fiber and high in sodium. Find healthy things that you enjoy eating. Beans, lentils, fruit, fish, dried fruit, nuts (but be careful because they are very dense in calroies and fat). Stay away from cheese, pastries, and anything deep fried. Here's a little trick I use when I crave chocolate. I buy a choc cake mix in the box, and I mix some of the powder with water. What you make tastes like cake mix that you used to eat off the spoon when you were little, but it is surprisingly low in calories and fat because you didn't add any eggs or oil. I really think you need to eat more than you are, and add a lot more variety to your diet. Check out this website www.whfoods.com. It's amazing! A good guide is to only eat food off their list of the worlds 100 healthiest foods.

that is not the diet of an athlete.
you need to consume protein and carbs or protein and fats with each meal. you need to eat every 3-4 hours to keep energy levels stable and to keep the metabolism functioning normally. your caloric intake should never be less than the BMR requires.
