Not the cat lol. Let me explain.
It was late friday night, and my boyfriend and I went to walmart. As soon as we pulled into a spot, I saw this black and white cat. It was rummaging through a mcdonalds garbage bag on the ground. It was looking for something to eat...
I burst into tears, my heart broken. You see, Im an animal lover like no other. I cant stand to see stray animals. Hungry, thirsty....its just so sad, it breaks my heart, and I feel physical pain. I just wish I could help them. Anyways, it was obvious I couldnt go into walmart now. I was a mess. Then I thought maybe I could run in and get him some food, and hed still be out there. So I cleaned up a bit, and called to the cat. He ran. He didnt trust me. How would I get close enough to feed him? My boyfriend told me to forget it, there was no way the cat would be there when I came out. Still, I just had to try. So I waddle to the cat food (im 9 months pregnant) grab two cans of soft food, and go to check out. Well......

There was only one line open, with literally a dozen people all with cartfulls of groceries. And there I stood with only two cans of cat food. I started to tear up again. No way would the cat still be out there by the time I got out there. But then, a line right next to me I noticed was open! With only one person in line. I hurried and payed and ran outside. I looked around for the cat, and spotted him at the other end of the building in the gardening section. He was drinking from a muddy puddle. I moved quickly to him. I prayed with all my heart he wouldnt run. He did, but not far. He ran inside the gate of the garden section, and hid under some flowers and stared at me. I said, "please dont run. Im just feeding you." I opened the cans, mushe it up with my hand, and left.

I hunted my boyfriend down in the store with cat food dripping off my hand, with a grin on my face. "I found him," I said. And as we left, I had him drive by where the food was, I wanted to see if he ate. Both cans were just about empty. I was able to give the homeless cat a meal. I just cant explain how I feel. So warm. Was I meant to feed that cat that night? Do you think god chose me to do so? I mean, what are the chances he was still out there, and didnt run too far away like he did the first time? I still am sad I couldnt save him completely. But at least for one night, he got a full belly.

XD, i am not taking a thing you say to heart. It was god. I was meant to see him, and meant to feed him. I could feel it. So shut up. That was indeed one of the moments I thought, "god is really real." I felt so...warm. So your wrong.

Yes of course it is God,everything is planned by him.

Pay no attention to the ney-sayers (sp?). ☺ Of course it was God. God makes all things good happen. Some people say that they don't believe in God or divine intervention, but they instead choose to believe in coincidence.... I on the other hand like to think the opposite... I firmly believe in God and divine intervention, not coincidence. Small example: There was a time when we wanted to buy something (pricey), one thing led to another & we could not find the exact item we wanted so we did not make that big purchase. While sitting with our mouths stuck out, upset that we did not get what we wanted, one of our cars broke down and needed major repair work done to the engine. Now if we would have made that purchase we would have spent extra money that would have been better off paying for the car. We could have done both, but it was just nicer to only come off one large amount of money than two. So the way I look at it is God postponed us making that big purchase to better prepare us for the complication we had ahead. That is just my opinion though. I truley believe God put you there to take care of the kitty, and if you feel them same don't let any "atheist" try to tell you different. ☺God bless you!☺

It was nice that you fed the cat.
I can't tell you whether or not it was God who helped this happen for you.
I can say that it may be God that is prompting you to ask questions in the R & S section.
I have to say something that you may not want to hear, but if you are pregnant and unmarried then there are a few things that you and your boyfriend need to do. Ask God to forgive you for having sex before marriage. Consider getting married. Take good care of that baby. Children need a good healthy set of parents. (just like cats need food!)
I am VERY glad that you are having your baby and did not have an abortion (YEAH!) I hope things go well with your delivery :)
The best thing you can do for your child is to raise him or her in a Christian home. Are you and you boyfriend Christians? (Have you asked God for forgivness of sin, repented and decided to follow Him?)
"Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
Read and study the bible, email me if you have questions about God, Jesus, the bible, Christianity etc...
Take care - Redeemed

I saw your other question and came looking for this one that you were talking about..then i went and found the other question and it was deleted..so I hope this one stays at least till I get done answering it lol.
What a wonderful thing you did..all the effort you put in to get that little one fed..that was beautiful. By the way thank you for doing such a wonderful thing..I too am an animal lover that goes beyond the call too.
I believe God has given you a gift to care for animals..He loves them too..I also think it may well have been God who got that checkout available for you. God has answered many of my prayers for animals..and it is not strange.
Never be ashamed etc of what is laid upon your heart to do for an animal..ever..it is a gorgeous quality..and a beautiful and wonderful gift.
God Bless you.

Well, I wouldn't expect any less from an animal lover. I buy bird seed and keep it in the front seat just to feed the birds in the parking lot of Walmart before I go home. My husband thinks I'm nuts. I do believe God puts people in our paths to help, so why not a stray cat? God oversees every aspect of our lives and I'm so glad he has blessed you with a love for the little creatures He created. Too bad you couldn't get closer and take him home. Then maybe you could find him a proper home. I'm praying you stay healthy and have a beautiful healthy baby. Thanks for sharing that sweet story with us and I'm glad you posted again....I had passed it up the first time. I thought it was just one of the mockers from the title. God bless you and your family.

That was a very loving thing you done and it was good but no I do not think God had anything to do with it. The reason being is that God created them with the instincts and abilities to hunt and feed themselves. I would focus that same compassion and love onto all the starving "people" in the world that don't have the means to eat and take care of themselves. Jesus teaches us to help the fatherless and the widows, and to feed and clothe those who need it. He never said or preached anything about doing this for the animals. Peace

There is no reason to think anything like "God" was involved here.
Your dedication and perseverance are to be given the credit. You got a bit lucky when it came to the line thing, but there's no reason to think something so extravagant as "God made it happen." Wouldn't it have been much easier for this "God" to have kept the cat from being starving out there in the first place? It's not like "God" would have put this chain of events in motion to teach you a lesson or something, as it's obvious your heart was already in the right place.
Don't give "God" credit for your kindness. You alone deserve the credit and recognition for what you did.
I am an atheist, and a fellow animal lover.

Its called a warm and kind heart.I do the same thing I can`t stand anything to be hungry.Animals are Gods creatures too.Good for you and hopefully the cat will find a home.I wished that we could feed every human and every animal, that there wasn`t hunger or hatred or evil in this world. We know we can`t make everything okay but doing something makes us more human.

You are pregnant so your hormones are out of balance, calm down. But we should help all the living creatures in trouble we can and I know the nice feeling of feeding a stray cat. I have 4 cats, all were strays and one took 2 years to trust me but now she demands petting etc. They all live outside my house and sleep in my utility room. They are still free but they are my cats. I hope you enjoy your baby and that in the future a special cat comes to your door.

Holy hormones woman. Your child won't starve, thats for sure. Would you of done this deed not pregnant? It was a nice gesture for that cat. Your going to be a great mom. Im more wondering, since, you are pregnant, if you did not throw in the maternal instincts to make sure this stray cat was taken care of. You don't have to prove you will a good mom. Your in nesting period. Everything has to be suitable for baby to arrive. The cat was important to you. So cute. Your baby will arrive in good hands. All the best.
