Im sorry if this seems like a stupid question. But I was wondering if the bible mentions space. I just hate science trying to explain everything, sometimes it puts doubt in my mind. But then I think, if god created the earth, does it say anywhere he made space too? If it does, I would feel much better. This may not make sense. Sorry.

yes, the bible talks about the 3 heavens. Our atmosphere, space and the 3rd heaven, where God is.
It also talks about the Plenitude's in Job, I believe.
It talks about the universe, and about the sun and moon. It talks of earth being a sphere.
And yes it says that God created the heavens and the earth.
be blessed in Christ!

Genesis 1:1 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (KJV)
The Hebrew word for heaven: shÄmayim dual of an unused singular shameh, shaw-meh'; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve) :- air, Ã astrologer, heaven (-s).—Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary
This was the Creation of the Universe, time, space and matter, ex nihilo: out of nothing; from nothing.

Try Genesis 1:14-18:
Then God said: "Let there be lights in the dome of the sky, to separate day from night. Let them mark the fixed times, the days and the years, and serve as luminaries in the dome of the sky, to shed light upon the earth." And so it happened:
God made the two great lights, the greater one to govern the day, and the lesser one to govern the night; and he made the stars.
God set them in the dome of the sky, to shed light upon the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. God saw how good it was.
With love in Christ.

Yes in the book of job especially and a couple other places, described the stars and other planets.
Actually I found out that there was another galaxy outside ours from the bible that is before science knew there was another galaxy.
I cannot really quote verbatim but it has something to do with seven heavens.

Space was made by God as well. In John 1:3 we read "all things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." Also in Genesis 1:16 "he made the stars also".

The cool thing about the Bible is that is does not say that you cannot explore space.
