I got my last work on Thursday last week (May 3), and my gf got hers on May 4. That's 3 days ago for me, and two for her.

Both areas are still sensitive, although I wouldn't say they hurt. On the other hand, the work I got from Apr 27 right below the neckline of my shirt hurt for a little over a week, and is still more sensitive than the mid-lower back work and right shoulder from May 3.

Long & short - some areas take longer, and I can see the lower abdomen/hip being one of them. Based on the other commentary I am pretty sure it's fine. Do be warned you're probably about to start peeling & that will take a couple of weeks, but otherwise congrats on the tattoo!

Just keep taking care of it. I got one on the back of my neck like 4 weeks ago. It hurt pretty bad for the first week or so. I think that more sensitive areas take a bit longer to heal.

I have two Kanji symbols on my scale down again, on both aspect of my backbone. It harm plenty, however plenty of that was once the skinny needle configuration (it isn't crammed in, it is simply the 'lettering' so it harm greater than shading could). Depending on what you get, it will probably harm kind of. If you might have plenty of shading and coloring performed, it is not going to harm as dangerous as for those who had a web page from a e-book tattooed for your scale down again. Compared with the 7 different tattoos I have, I'd say the scale down again ones had been top up there within the anguish enviornment.

It feels like a sunburn but keep triple A. on it for another week and DO NOT SCRATCH IT or it will pull the ink out with the scab.

thats normal considering the area its on; your body could be having an reaction though, I'd go back to the shop and have them look at it if its not good by the end of the week.
