We all need to build up trust when in relationships. Over time, we see how trustworthy a person is, or isn't. We have to have good boundries until we are sure what we are dealing with. People show you who they are, be wise, accept what they show you.

Trust your gut. If it doesn't feel right it probably isn't. I have had to change dr's and therapits often because of where I live, most last about 2 years here and then leave. I have gotten pretty good at my gut feeling in this. Do I feel comfortable in the environment, is the office comfortable or do I feel like its not right, maybe run down, or to formal. Then my next thing is how do I feel with the therapist, Dr. If I feel safe I usually am. Also because of where I live, I have had phone interviews with people to see if I like them. Most therapists are willing to talk on the phone about general information and that can tell you if its right. Just trust your gut.
