You can not conclude that you will be saved immediately after your death. Your body flesh will be buried and returned to dust where you came from and your spirit will be taken cared by God until judgment time on the coming of Jesus to judge us. Those who will be saved be taken to heaven for eternal life with God while those who will not be saved will be thrown to the lake of fire

Even demons believe in God, its doesnt mean they are going to Heaven.
I think that God expects a response of faith from us upon hearing the Gospel and believing that Jesus can save them.
Unfortunately, what we see from the parable of the 10 virgins, is that there comes a point in time whether in this life, or right when we die when the opportunity to be faithful has past. Now some people may tell me Im crazy and point out the thief on the cross, I would say Jesus chose to have mercy on him because he knew his heart and I would argue that such a standard is not universal for everyone.
We see for instance King Saul humbled himself and repented many times yet his heart still led him stray afterwards. And God did not protect him or bless him.
I think people that honestly seek Christ and learn about him, repent, accept him as LORD, get baptized in his name, and recieve the Holy Spirit so they can better know and serve God. If people are going to intentionally short circuit all the hard work and sacrifice refusing to give their lives, help others, give back to God, avoid other believers, etc, then I hardly call that a faithful response that God is going to honor.
In the case of the thief on the cross, he was a very special case because very few humans on average ever know we will be dead in a matter of hours. But as far as anyone middle aged knows, he could live another 40-60 years. Yet how much of that time do they spend pushing God away intentionally?

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

First, you'll might want to do away with all pornographic pictures out of your existence and thereby get rid of the temptation to sin. then you definitely definately ought to might want to invite Jesus to forgive you for the recommendations and movements triggered by technique of them and to maintain you from them any further. you truly have an element in this. Jesus does no longer rigidity us to abide by the understand God. He honestly tells us what it really is. it really is as a lot as you to resist the temptation. in case you do this, God will provide a way that you'll destroy out it. James 4:7 withstand the devil and he will flee from you. James a million:12 Blessed is the fellow who endureth temptation: for even as he's tried, he shall obtain the crown of existence, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. a million Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you in spite of the indisputable fact that resembling is known to guy: in spite of the indisputable fact that God is honest, who will no longer wade through you to be tempted above that ye are waiting; yet will with the temptation also make a thanks to escape, that ye is likewise in a position to submit to it.

Faith in The Savior is just the beginning. When we have faith in Him and love Him, we obey his commandments.
One such commandment is Baptism
Mark 16:16
John 3:5
Acts 2:38
"If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15

No, you have to believe in Christ and accept him as your Lord and Saviour. In the Bible there are passages in which devils recognized Jesus. They asked him why did he come to punish them before the time. Obviously their belief in Jesus was not going to get them into heaven.

Simply believing is not enough.
James 2: [14] What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? [15] If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food, [16] and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit?
[17] So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
Cheers :-)

I don't necessary agree with that statement, because of my knowledge of plenty of people who say they are saved, but act unsaved, but does this mean I am right, no, it might be that simple, I will get back to you on this I need to study this more.

No.
The Christian Bible tells us that even demons believe in Christ-and tremble.
The only way to be saved is to ask God to come into your life and do your best to live according to his teachings. (However, it is not doing good things that makes you saved, it is because you are saved that you do good deeds.)
Here is a little something I found:
AND NOW... A FREE GIFT FROM THE HELPLINE
» Right now you might be saying, "What free gift??"
It's the gift of "salvation" - but what is salvation? First, let's see what salvation is not.
Salvation is not the same thing as "religion."
» Did you know that God hates religion?
That's right - when you have a girlfriend or boyfriend (or you get married), do you want a "religious experience" with that person, or do you want a relationship with them? You want a relationship, of course! The same holds true with God - He just wants a one-on-one relationship with you, like you would have with a friend. The difference is, there's no way to "earn" this gift of a relationship with God, because it's free. In fact, the Bible says that it is "by grace you have been saved through faith... it is the gift of God, not of works, so that no one can boast," (Ephesians 2:8, 9). Do you remember when you were younger? At Christmas when your mom or dad gave you Christmas gifts, did you have to pay for them? Of course not. The same holds true with God.
» But what if you're already a "good person"?
Maybe you already believe in God, haven't killed anyone, and all that? Why should you care about salvation? First of all, there's no such thing as a "good person." God says in Romans 3:23 that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We are all separated from God by sin - until we ask Jesus into our hearts. Secondly, it isn't enough to just believe there is a God. Jesus said that unless you are "born again," you cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). Being "born again" means more than just believing that Jesus Christ/God exists - it means asking Jesus into your heart by faith, totally relying on what He did on the cross for you. He has forgiven all of your sins.
» So you think that you've done some "horrible" things?
You're a "bad person"? You might be thinking that there's no way God could forgive you. The truth is, God says in John 6:37 that anyone who comes to Him will not be cast out! Remember that if you could save yourself (by being "good," or becoming a church member, or even by being water-baptized), there would have been no point in Jesus dying on the cross. He died because there is no way you can save yourself.
» "So what now?"
To receive God's free gift of salvation, you just need to ask Him for it. Pray this prayer - based on Romans 10:9, 10 in the Bible:
"Jesus, I confess that I need You. My own works are not good enough. I have sinned, and I need to receive this free gift. I confess you as Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead. Lord Jesus, fill me with your Holy Spirit; guide me to a Bible-believing church; and help me to read your Word. Thank you for dying for me."
» You are now a born again Christian.
Remember, you're not "religious." Instead, you have a personal, one-on-one relationship with God. You can think of God the Father as your "spiritual dad" (remember He is a good Father). Think of God the Son (Jesus) as your Lord and Savior - as your "best friend." Think of God the Spirit (the Holy Spirit) as the Spirit of God that lives in you. Think about it - God actually wants to live "in you"!
If anyone ever comes to you and asks if you're sure that you're going to Heaven, you can say "yes," because of what Jesus did on the cross! Think about this verse from the Bible, found in 2 Corinthians 5:17. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." Now you can live not by how you "feel," but by who God says you are. God says you are now His son or daughter (Galatians 3:26, 27)!
» God is waiting, and He loves YOU!

The Baptists preach spontaneous salvation (for they haven't a clue about Jesus' teachings on salvation), but you must kneel at the preacher's altar, and do the special incantation, etc.; and then you are declared saved.
You have to follow precedure. Check your local Baptist church for details, and have your credit card ready.
