Religious people wear crosses to show their love of god and jesus. Why can't atheist wear necklaces that show their love for not having a religion? To show the world that they can live through life without believing in god.

I'm an atheist too, so I won't get offended by any answers, as long as they are not answers bashing atheists. If anyone does not like my questions, then find another question to answer. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.

Many Atheists claim that Atheism is the reasonable or logical choice since no evidence exists that proves the existence of God.
Since eyewitness testimony is evidence in a court of law, the majority of courts in the world, people who can testify to the existence of the Lord God are themselves evidence.
By rejecting evidence that is acceptable in the majority of courts in the world by claiming no evidence exists Atheists are not only hypocrites they are closed minded, illogical and unreasonable.
Agnostics I can understand since I can understand someone saying, "I am not swayed by current evidence to either believe or disbelieve". This is a more open minded position and infers that the person could be swayed by evidence they accept.
Atheism; the hypocritical, closed minded, illogical and unreasonable choice

I would wear an atheist necklace because then if a girl who was also an atheist saw it then there might be a better chance at a relationship. As an atheist myself I know its fairly hard to find a girlfriend when your an atheist

Nope. I dont see the point. I always thought Christians are always trying too hard to convince everyone around them, and mostly themselves, just how "godly" they are. It just smacks of desperation to me. By wearing a necklace that would be the same for all atheists would thereby give it a group dynamic, a little too close to a religion for my comfort level. If anyone asks, I will proudly state my atheistic beliefs. But I do not feel a need to wear anything denoting this. I am comfortable with my beliefs!

I don't wear jewelry other than a wedding ring. I wouldn't have a problem wearing the necklace to my Atheist church on Wednesdays, but for the rest of the week it would hang in my closet.

Atheism is a lack of belief in gods. I already wear that necklace by not wearing any necklaces.

There are atheist necklaces (and earrings, too). I don't wear one but I would if someone bought one for me. (The necklace, not the earrings). Seems better than wearing a crucifix around one's neck. I mean, what if Jesus were electrocuted instead of crucified? Would xians wear a little electric chair around their necks? What if he were beheaded... would they wear a little guillotine around their necks?
It seems to me, the atheist symbol, which is patterned after the "atom" symbol, makes more sense than a violents symbol of murder.

An atheist necklace? Why would any self respecting atheist want or need to wear such a thing?

I don't wear jewelry, so no i wouldn't wear it.
I do sometimes in the winter though wear a pin on my jacket lapel that pictures a cross inside the red circle with a line through it.
