Better get a check on your whoremones kid.
Thinking leads to flirting, which leads to acting, which leads to sex, which leads to aids, which leads to death.
You don't go to Hell for homosexuality, you go to Hell if you reject Christ. What you mentioned just turns up the heat.

Okay, I'm probably gonna get a lot of heat for this, but I really don't care.
Being homosexual is wrong....if you don't believe it read the story of Sodom and Gammorah(sp?).
It depends on where your heart was when you "flirted", because God looks at the heart, not on the outward man. So if you are truly attracted to men I want to tell you don't be ashamed to talk to someone you trust about it. Those feelings can be over come with counseling. I believe these feelings are from the devil and I commend you for reaching out instead of just accepting those feelings.
Let me also say I'm a bit disappointed that there are not more Christians willing to answer this young man's question, honestly. If we allow him to remain confused we will be judged for that!
I hope you find the answers you need, man. I'll be praying for you, and you should pray for yourself too.
God Bless you!

We are all screwed up in a way. Jesus died for the sinners, he said that. It's those people who think that they are perfect that he had a problem with.
What not to do, is conduct tht kind of thing while you are supposed to be listening to the message. If the pastor of that church has something agianst it altogether, I think that you should go to another church. Because while I think that we all have strange feelings at times, we can become an instrument of the devil, especially at the crucial time of hearing the word of God. During worship, there is no sex, man or woman, rich or poor.
So if you are serious, then respect the sanctuary. It's for worship. The world you can do with what you want, but stay in Christ by trusting God.
That's the way I see it.

The Bible says not to foretell the future, so I don't like to think I know too much about hell, except that it derives, as an English word, from Anglo-Saxon "helan" meaning "to cover."
The symptoms of flirting are similar to the symptoms of hypnosis: fluttery eyelids, watery eyes, stomach gurgles, heaviness and lightness at the same time, time distortion, loss of feeling in arms and legs, feeling stuck to the chair or floor (from Thorson's Principles of Hypnotherapy). Christians need to remember that Jesus is their master and he gives them food, lodging and privileges rather than money (the price for us is not paid to us).
Ashamed people tend to cover up to feel better. They might feel like hell. The difference between shame culture and guilt culture is that ashamed people are not so much interested in right and wrong, merely in not losing face to the group. Another key difference is that they are quite comfortable using their perception of their health as a measure of how things are going. Therefore, they are perceived to be barometers of society in their own bodies. Guilty people, I think, tend to be the ones who rely on tapping on furniture and counting to a lucky number before making a decision (as in OCDs). They have a sense of personal guilt, but are possibly more likely to perceive their bodily sensations as being symbolic of right and wrong. I think that the distinction in imagery of heaven and hell could be the difference between a place that's white and you play a harp before flitting off to do something else. It's the ultimate fantasy in tapping on furniture without causing any damage. In contrast, hell is where everybody is quite sociable and nobody feels guilty.
I don't think that the Bible portrays heaven and hell this way, as the Bible actually takes a more organic, cultivation-ethic approach to life. Revelation is an exception, but I think that the shiny creatures that revealed things to the apostle John were occultic anyway.
I don't think that you're doing yourself any favours. True Christianity is about excellence as a gift from God that you don't have control over because he sees all and he is love.

No. Hell doesn't exist; it was made up to scare believers, just as heaven was made up to entice them. These are just old legends.
---
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

I don't believe in a literal "hell".
But if it actually did exist, and if I was gay, I would take pride in the fact that I wasn't going to spend the rest of eternity with a homophobic God.

I think you are playing with fire by flirting with the same sex. As you know, we are told in scripture that homosexuality is wrong....so flirting with this guy could lead to other things and is getting your mind to focus on things you shouldn't be focusing on....
If you are gay..then you cannot help that..but to follow through with flirting, or engaging in any kind of gay activity or going to bars etc is going to lead you in the wrong direction...please don't let this go any further.....
Please don't continue to flirt.....if you think about flirting and other stuff..then that is the same as doing it..please go to God with this before you head right headlong into sin.
God Bless.

No one knows, if you are gay you are gay end of story. If women don't turn you on why bother being with one. As long as you are 18 or older it's no ones business but you, the other persons and your god's.

NO. but if you continue on that path, then MAYBE you'll be in trouble.
we are not supposed to judge, so I can't say weather or not you'll go to hell.
I only know that God does not want you to commit the act of being gay. So, it's OK to be gay. just don't act on your gay tendencies.
Like people lust, and that's human. But God wants us to turn away from our sins.
God Bless
