Do you believe that Jesus the son of Mary was sent by G-D ? And do you believe that Muhammad was sent by G-D as well?

I'm just curious.

From a Jewish perspective, we believe they were both pretty smart people and wise men, but not prophets or messengers. Sorry.

From my standpoint, all religions are true to a degree, and both Jesus and Mohammed were teaching a true an important message, which makes them prophets in at least some abstract way.

But I don't think God sent either of them any more than he sent anybody else.

No, we don't.

We do not believe that G-d is the same as the god in the Tanakh, nor that J*sus or Muhammad are prophets. Neither of them are in the Tanakh.

Some of us may believe that historically there may have been a man named J*sus who existed whose mother might have been named Mary. But other than that, nothing. Not sent by G-d nothing.

Peace,
L.S.

And Messianic Jews are not Jews. They are recognized as apostates by any Jewish authority, but nothing else--certainly not Jews.

Jews beleive that Mary and Joseph were Jesus's parents... they also beleive all people have the spirit of God within them... they do not beleive that Jesus was a savior but they do beleive that he used the spirit of God that was within him to it's fullest potential and that he was a great man, the same for Muhammad also Jews beleive in the same God as the one in the gospels.

If you are a Messianic Jew, of course you accept it. We call him Yeshua and not Jesus. Cant help you on the Muhammad thing.....it is too poisonous to debate or say that he was sent by God.
