Ford all the way!!!
No offence to GMC but they are on the verge of bankruptcy.

The Ford is really the best you can get. The Ford is a more of a luxury truck and is really more dependable. The brakes on the GMC are terrible and the springs are too. The GM products all look the same inside.

As for ford being the best selling...that is because they don't count GMC and Chevy as being the same thing, which they are, just different names and some different "facial" structures. Fords sales have been on the decline lately, while GM (GMC and Chevy) sales have been going up. None are what they used to be, so really just take your pick.

I find Ford's are set up more for work and a truck feel than a Chevy/GMC is.
Whereas I like both, I rather my Ford anyday... GMC truck feels too soft even though the newer Chevy has toughened up a bit, still feels more car like than a dodge or a Ford.
I work on them daily and I own a f-150 for the guy who says that Ford mechanics don't own what they work on....

97 ford f140 xlt 2 wheel drive auto 150,000+ miles
was a rental came into my hands since i was 17 now im 20 done everything in the book with it recently bought a 69 daddy coupe deville with a 472 bb weighs 5500. dead stop on a hill pulled off like there was nothing behind it. only thing ever to go wrong was a spark plug went bad. but it was the stock plugs do a oil change hopefully every 5000 miles or so if shes luckey and i get bad looks when i tell my friends with chevy that. then i get worse looks when i beat them in a race

Ford F series is the best selling automobile of all time. Plus its the best looking pick up on the road.

GMC by far out.
All the mechanics in this site will say Ford "is better",none of them will buy Ford.
Ford has a better maket,due to whole sale parts pricing and parts availablity.( auto parts making profits and parts factories working overtime)

i'd say ford most likely, ford has been famous for its f series for the past... however many years, where i live they're pretty popular and maintenance seems easy when needed in the shop i work in. they're known greatly for their performance and towing/ hauling capacity as well
